I didn’t even know our waiter’s name was Ejidio until I saw it on the receipt because he never introduced himself.

About 10 minutes after sitting down, he came to take our order. I ordered the Burrito Grande with chicken. He repeated it back incorrectly as the Burrito Grande Fajita. I politely told him, “No, I don’t think so , that’s the option below what I want.” Instead of simply clarifying, he argued with me and insisted that the Burrito Grande with chicken *is* the fajita version. It’s not. I can clearly read the menu , the fajita version includes peppers and onions, which I did not want. I reiterated my order, but as shown on the receipt, he still rang it in incorrectly.

When the food arrived, I was served the Burrito Grande Fajita with peppers and onions. I barely ate it because it wasn’t what I ordered. The lettuce was old and mushy, and overall it lacked flavor.

To make matters worse, the person I was with (on a first date, mind you) found a rock in his food. That completely ruined the rest of the experience for me. I was honestly distraught and couldn’t stop thinking about it.

The service was awful. The food was awful. The location and style of the restaurant, however, were beautiful , it’s a very nice venue.

Please train your staff accordingly. The time spent standing by the kitchen door talking and laughing could clearly be better used on improving service and attention to detail.

This was the worst mexican food I’ve ever had. The chicken tasted like canned chicken. The chile relleno tasted like something that had been in the freezer too long, the cheese filling was very artificial. The rice tasted blander than fresh cooked plain white rice, and the beans tasted like nothing. I dont know how they did it. How did they make grilled onions and steak bland? Everything was under seasoned if not gross. I will say, the corn tortilla on the chicken enchilada didn’t taste old or weird so that was nice. The best part of the meal was the chips and very safe, mild salsa. There was nothing special about the salsa- it just wasn’t offensive like the rest of the meal. Our server was not attentive, and didn’t listen when we tried to ask for hot sauce she just assumed we wanted boxes.
We were excited to come here and we love Mexican food and often go out of our way to get it when we go to Atlanta or LA. I grew up eating it. This was awful. Maybe the good reviews are by people who have had so many margaritas everything tastes fine to them. The energy seemed good and the place seemed clean. But I won’t return. I don’t think the cooks know what they are doing and it is too expensive to be served trash.

My daughter and I went for lunch and we both ordered a house margarita with jalapeños.
We didn’t have that much for lunch and was shocked when we got the bill and it was $75+.
We were charged for dirty margaritas at $17 apiece which is not what we ordered. The happy hour margaritas were less than $4.00. When we questioned this we were told that a jalapeño margarita is a dirty margarita. Obviously, the server should have clarified that when we ordered. The check out server called the manager and she wouldn’t budget. She said we should have questioned it when we were served. I get jalapeño margaritas at every Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to and have never had to question what I ordered and wasn’t ripped off. I will never eat at this restaurant again !

The beans have onions in them which I did not like and I thought the salsa bland compared to other area Mexican restaurants. The service and staff were wonderful though. Very attentive and helpful. Was there when they opened for a weekday lunch. Chips were cold not fresh or heated. I ordered a speedy off the lunch menu a sweet tea which was very sweet and fried ice cream for dessert my bill was over 20 dollars for lunch. The ice cream was ok not hard shell fried but not bad. See pictures below for portions and food. The taco was my favorite.

We just moved to the area a couple of months ago. We have been looking for a Mexican restaurant to replace the one we were regulars at where we moved from. The food was very good and I think we may have found our spot. However the service was lacking. For as slow as it was I feel like we could have got more attention. Also my wife is very allergic to shell fish. When we told the server she did not understand and almost gave her a shrimp burrito. We will be back again.

Service was great. Tacos were bland but the cheesy chicken and rice was good.

17$ hamburger looked like a Krystal. Server had no personality. Chicken chimichanga meal had absolutely no flavor, which was the most disappointing part. Beer & everything expensive but good Mexican food would have balanced that out.

Excellent all the way around. Cute restaurant, great staff and even better food. The Chili Relleno is superb!! Wish I had this restaurant where I live! The salsa had really good flavor without being too spicy.
