These reviews can’t possibly be real! Friends and family?
I was excited to try this place after looking it up on Google. Had high hopes, ended in disappointment. I like Caribbean food, but I’m not sure what kind of Caribbean this is. Barely cooked fries with slices of American cheese, dry shredded chicken, ketchup and mayo. The picture on the menu looked like it could’ve been pasta, when this came out I was confused. My son and I ordered the same thing, he took a couple of bites and quit. I didn’t even touch mine. The waitress got an attitude and said we should’ve asked what it was.
My other son ordered the whole fried fish, he ended up going to the bathroom to throw up before getting 20% through his food. Each of my kids (teenagers) said they saw mice. I ordered a pineapple agua fresca that tasted like it was made from pineapple that was starting to mold or ferment. Still paid for that even though I didn’t drink it. Music is too loud like it’s a club or social bar instead of a restaurant. Bright flashing lights are also unnecessary for a sit down restaurant.
Overall just not a good experience. We literally left here and went to McDonald’s.

I go to this place every time I’m in Canton. Staff is always friendly and food is delicious. If I dine in, I get the Planto Larimer(snapper plate). if I’m taking out food, I just get food from the chafing dishes in the back. All the stews are conveniently ready for a quick take out. Definitely recommend the flavorful stews. GOAT and oxtail are my favorites.

I’m sorry, but are these reviews paid for? Every single thing on my plate was BLAND. I was expecting bold flavors. It was as if it wasn’t seasoned and it tasted reheated, especially the random pile of ground beef. I don’t know how they’re still in business. The food was less than subpar and we will absolutely not be returning.

We loved the homey vibe and relaxed feel while we were there. The mofongo with shrimp was fantastic. I highly recommend it. The chicken empanadas were also very good and a great price, 2/$7! They were doing some updates to the back area while we were there. I bet the pina coladas and drinks are great. There was a box of fresh pineapple coming in and being prepped behind the bar. We will be back!

I’m speechless. I haven’t been to a Dominican Caribbean Restaurant this good. This Latino food is out of this world. So delish. The perfect seasoning. The owners are amazing, so nice and polite. Loved my Mofongo with pork and shrimp. The Dominican drinks made from natural fruits are exquisite. The Strawberry Coconut Brazo Gitano was to die for. . My company also enjoyed every bite of their dishes. I totally recommend it. We will be back to try more fruit smoothies and other different dishes. Yummm. You guys rock!
