Worse “ Peruvian restaurant “ I’ve ever been.
Lomo Saltado and biztek a lo pobre meat was hard with lack of flavor , the rice was old, the so called pollo broster looked like deep fried mc chicken, cheap the frozen fries didn’t have any flavor and the salad was plane straight out of the salad bag you get at the market.I attempted to give the meat to my dog and they didn’t eat it.

One of the best authentic Peruvian places I been to in northern Virginia the Food is to die for the service is amazing and very attentive and mind you it’s very affordable for the portions you get I could eat here everyday I LOVE this place

Great service and delicious Peruvian cuisine. A good selection of appetizers and entrees; meats and seafood galore! They also serve a good pisco sour. We didn’t get a chance to try the desserts but they looked good also.

We brought a group of 18 family members to El Estribo this past Saturday for the first time, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I called ahead to make a reservation, and they were kind enough to fit us in that same day. When we arrived, we only waited about 15 minutes before being seated.
The service was great, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was absolutely amazing — every single person in our family loved their meal. While the food took a little time to come out, it was well worth the wait.
A special shout-out to the staff and chef for accommodating my wife’s dietary needs. She usually can only eat homemade ceviche due to restrictions, but they went above and beyond to prepare a shrimp-only ceviche with no milk — and she loved it!
This place may be tucked away in a small shopping center, but it’s a true hidden gem. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, authentic food and great service.

Excellent! Sorta ordered a lot of food here, but none wasted. Very nice spot for Peruvian food. I thought the Arroz con Pollo was amazing, especially with the huancaina sauce. Chicha morada was super refreshing.
