Horrible customer service. I called to speak to a manger because my order was wrong. A Hispanic guy answered the phone and said no manger is there today. I told him my order was wrong he told me to content DoorDash. I told him I can bring my food back and get it replaced and he said it’s not his problem. I will be contacting my bank and door dash for a refund. Unacceptable! Won’t be ordering from here ever again.
I like this place. Food is good, service is great and employees are amazing. I have been several times and have yet to have either bad service or food.
We entered the restaurant and it is a large, open one — meaning that there is no separation of larger parties to smaller ones. There were a couple of larger parties, which could be loud at times and those parties were next to the smaller parties. The loudness of their conversations can interfere with cozy conversation.
The servers weren’t as courteous as other Mexican Restaurants, nor were they as helpful. As you will notice when you’re seated, the menu has no shortage of choices of their dishes. If you have questions as to the taste or the portions, our two servers gave “middle of the road” answers. This was our first visit, which we shared with our servers, and we did not receive any good opinions as to what we should try or lean towards. It almost seemed as if it is was an inconvenience that we had even asked. (Hint to their servers: a portion of your tip derives from this assistance.)
The meal didn’t take long to arrive, but being that there weren’t many tables being served, the 10-minute wait wasn’t bad. The food came out hot and was really good — about what you’d find at other Mexican restaurants. We were warned not to touch the plates because they were very hot. We appreciated that.
After digging in, I was almost half-way into the dish when I found a piece of bone in my food. My companion and I found that a bit off-putting. I promptly rose from my seat and notified the manager (who was at the register) of the piece of bone that I found. After investigating the object, he asked what it was. I, then, repeated that it was a piece of bone that I had just found in my dish. He apologized and that was it. The manager did not offer a refund for my dish or a discount or anything for the inconvenience.
We finished our meal, received our check right away (we did not ask for it), and our table was cleared. We, then, walked to the register and I told the cashier (the manager had left) of the bone that I had found in my food; he, also, apologized. No offer to discount the meal nor take make it right.
Overall, our opinion of this particular restaurant is this: There is nothing very special about this one. If you don’t want to travel very far from the area around Hobbs Road and you want the same taste as you would from a further Mexican restaurant, then you’ll be alright.
