Family of 5 had an amazing meal. The veal Parm and pasta dishes are fresh and flavourful. So good that we bought 2 pizzas for takeout and the crust and toppings were top notch. Our server Barb was very attentive and personable. This place is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend.

When we are talking about hidden gems .. THIS IS IT! The food tonight was outstanding. There are quite a few Italian restaurants in the region but not many that make their own pasta fresh every day. This is the closest I have felt to being back in Italy. Best tomato sauce hands down. We had a large group there tonight and the staff did such a fabulous job. Great spot for a night out with friends or even a large group. Will be back for sure

Finally had the pleasure of dining at Amici! We had a wonderful evening out with just the girls. We each had something different and were able to share. Healthy portions of delicious homemade pasta & pizza.

We joined some friends at their favourite local Italian restaurant and it was good. Glass bottles of cold water are on the tables for you to serve yourself (which I like). The pasta dishes came with a thin slice of toasted garlic bread in lieu of a bread basket. The Rosetta was delicious and I highly recommend this dish. Exactly how Nonna would have made it, in my opinion. The pasta in the Rosetta was buttery and light, the sauce perfect. The spaghetti and meat sauce was good. Portions were moderate. The thin crust Godfather pizza, with meatballs, pepperoni and sausage, made in their wood oven pizza imported from Italy, was also good. Our companions were hoping for extra Parmesan to be offered, although chili flakes were eventually provided when requested. There’s a popular bar area with high tops at one section, and regular tables fill the rest of the room, complete with the straw bottom wine bottle with the candle burning on top- adding to the authenticity of this place. Recommend reservations for weekends and I understand they can accommodate larger parties with notice. Free parking, located in a strip mall, easily accessible.

I ordered “Spaghetti carbonara” but swapped it for linguini and added chicken. Delicious! I think I could eat the garlic bread dipped in the pasta sauce all day lol but the made-from-scratch noodles were also delicious. The tiramisu was delightful. Will definitely be back with my family – I know my kids will love the pasta!

It was our first time going to Amici Restaurant and I must say it was quite disappointing. We made reservations and arrived little earlier but the Owner had seated myself and my significant other. Then from that point on we were never spoken to and/or taken care of. We did not even get a glass of water. The waitresses kept looking at our table but never came. We sat and waited over 15 minutes and still nothing. I went up to the Owner and had mentioned that we were forgotten about he went over to one of the waitresses and spoke to them but nothing came out of that either. We were truly disappointed with our visit to Amici and wont be returning.

Excellent food, freshly made by the cook at the back next to the fire oven. Taste and seasoning are very well judged. The servers are really friendly, adjust to your needs and are very fast. Well worth going out of your way for if you’re in downtown Cambridge (Galt), it’s about 3km from the centre with good parking.

The WORST pizza we’ve ever had and we know pizza as we spend winters in Italy. So disappointing. Cardboard dry and thin crust (not home made), a hint of sauce, Kraft cheese, canned olives….need more? Not Neopolitan, not Roman. A mystery.
The owner obviously doesn’t care as he sat at the bar, didn’t utter a word to the few diners in the place (clean but dated) and failed to acknowledge us as we departed (fled). This review is for you – save your money. The owner doesn’t care – he must have tons of money. This is the furthest thing from the Italian food his mother and grandmother made for him and he knows it. Shame on you.
