The young lady that took our order was very friendly! She was eager to answer any questions and was happy to provide info to my husband about where to find Horchatta. The decor of the restaurant could really use some improvements if I am being honest. When it comes to the food I had higher expectations. The Supreme Nachos were not really worth what we paid for them. We got the shredded chicken that was not really shredded. Just large clumps of chicken covered by large clumps of lettuce and smothered with cheese and sour cream and a thick slice of tomato. We also ordered the Fajitas Ranchero which wasn’t all that bad. The rice was very tasty and the Mexican salad was pretty much a repeat of the nacho toppings without the cheese. I probably would not spend my money at this establishment again. The only reason they got 3 stars is because of the service from the young woman who took our order.

The foods that we have are OK, the lady owner that doing the cashier and taking our orders is rude to us. My son asked for a refills to our drinks, she just didn’t acknowledge us. It’s our first time here and we won’t be back and recommend this to our family and friends.

For Callahan I guess you could say this is a pretty decent place, however their only competition is taco Bell so take it how you want. The place seemed a little dated and run down a bit, not dirty but could use an update. When you show up someone takes your order and brings you a drink and that’s about the only time you see them unless they swing by for a drink refill. As for the food I personally would drive to town and get Cinco de Mayo or LA NOPALERA but if you eat here I got a beef quesadilla and tostada. It came with some super funny refried beans and dried out Mexican rice. The tostada had some can dog food looking beef and sour cream consistency melted cheese and the same with the quesadilla. You would hope ok it looks unappealing but maybe it has good flavor. Well guess what wrong again, it had the flavor of eating fresh grandma made beef stew compared to Dinty Moore beef stew. This was the Dinty Moore Mexican equivalent. To say the least that was my last visit to El Toro and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Chicken enchiladas were delicious, but chicken wasn’t fully shredded & needed more salsa verde! Rice was delicious! Bean & Guacamole was like a yucky soup!

Not bad for the price, the service was good too. The food was hot and the portions were good, not so much that you feel miserable after eating. I’ve had better but I’ve also had much worst so El Dorado is on the higher end of the scale and it’s definitely worth a visit. They advertise a buffet on Sundays, might be worth trying.

Terrible food terrible service… nachos are so soggy and a big mess. Beans spilled all in the bag, no rice with food you have to pay extra. No chips and salsa with food to go you have to pay extra for that too. cashier was so rude, not authentic Mexican, nasty looking inside good thing I ordered to go…. Waste of money.

Really disappointing. We called our order in..(food for 7 people) Picked it up and came straight home. It was already room temp when we received it. I had to put cheese on my $12 quesadilla. The chicken was tough and dry. The side salad was swimming in some nasty gray looking water. It was not edible. My husband got soft beef tacos. The hamburger meat (we were expecting shredded beef) was so greasy that the flour tortillas were mush.

First visit today, it is a very busy restaurant so we tried to wait for a weekday after lunch. The menu is pretty typical mexican food. We both really enjoyed our meals. I’m pretty sure they make their own salsa, and taco shells ect. I’ve consumed a lot of Mexican food in my life and while it wasn’t anything special, it was on point taste and portion wise. Our waitress was friendly and kept our drinks topped off.

Called in an order to go, later found out chips and salsa are not included(which is fine) bought a $6 cup of queso and was informed the small cup for $6 did not include chips I would need to buy those in addition to the dip. Food was ok, no LANOP.. will not be going back after this experience.

It was just ok. Nothing great, nothing bad. Average food quality. Good service. Only gave a tiny amount of salsa when we placed our order.
