Me and a colleague came here for dinner during our work trip to Raleigh. I haven’t had truly authentic Mexican food since moving from the San Francisco Bay Area a few years ago, and this brought me right back. The entire staff were very friendly and welcoming.
But the food….wow….Fresh, flavorful, and delicious. My colleague normally hates eating out because he’s extremely picky, and even HE was complimenting them non stop the entire walk back to the hotel and ranting why we found this gem on our last night and not three nights earlier.
Last but not least the price…..Night before we made a quick run to subway 2 blocks away. Had 2 subs, each with a drink and side came to $37.00 We had 2 full meals here, Veggie Fajitas and combination plate (1 enchilada, 1 burrito and 1 chile releno) got some chips and amazing salsa to start and paid $25 plus tip. This should be a no brainer. This place is an absolute GEM! Thank you and we will be back.

I was going to have a bbq party for my daughter’s second birthday and due to the rain I had to call an audible. (Though I don’t recommend making a party reservation within 72hrs.) The staff made the accommodations for my 25+ party in their back area. We had the whole space to ourselves!! It was awesome! The kids were able to run around, the area was very clean. The staff was professional and helpful. You must try their chicken and beef enchiladas. The party went through 50 of them easily! Great experience will come back again.

Coming from a larger city, we have hundreds of Mexican spots across town and I have had em all from $ to $$$. This is by far, the best Authentic Mexican food I have ever had. Nevermind the prices are better than 90% of Mexican food spots. The ladies were extremely kind and the food was not even kidding an 11/10.
Highly recommend the slow cooked beed Fried chimichangas.

This is a very good “traditional American style”Mexican restaurant. I frame it like that because the menu items and offerings like combos etc… are what you see at most Mexican restaurants like this one. The food is outstanding. Comparing to other similar restaurants this is the best I have had. The service is good. This restaurant has been in business and in the same building for a very long time. The lunch prices are very cheap. This is a must try if you are visiting or live in the area.

Best part about staying in Raleigh was getting this carry out. The tamale was so incredible it was smothered in some sauce that just melted me in my chair. I got some big platter combo that had a tostada, Taco, enchilada, burrito, beans and rice. The burrito wasn’t the most to my liking but everything else I ate was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. And I’m half Mexican and have had homemade authentic, Southwest Detroit authentic, and Mexican food down from the LRGV. If I’m ever down in North Carolina again I’m my life I will definitely try detouring here again

The level of authenticity brought it in every meal is amazing. Great service great food. I’ve been a regular here for years. You’ll always feel welcome. I’ve never been disappointed. This will always be the most authentic Mexican food around!! They have great prices as well. Be sure to tip well because this is way more than worth it. Omg the salsa is fresh and delicious! Enjoy

One of the finest dining spots in Raleigh. Their food is absolutely delectable, yet it’s very affordably priced.

While its located in a strip mall that has seen better days, the service is fast, the tortilla chips and salsa are never-ending, and the menu is expansive. I’ve never had a bad meal here. I especially like that my husband and I can eat dinner here for less than $30. What’s not to like?

Loved our food and service. But most of all the company. My Mama and I picked my son up from GMS for dinner and returned him to school before our big day at the NC State Fair tomorrow.

Lunch peices were good…..but now i know why. Fajita had no taste. Cheese dip ($4.25) was runny. Lots of shredded lettuce to fill the plates. Ordered Mexican street corn that was never delivered. Waitress never asked about refills on our drinks. With so many other Mexican restaurants around I would never return.
