I ordered a tamale and a cheese enchilada for pick‑up — two totally separate items — and they were in one container, drowning in some red meat sauce that tasted exactly like ragu. Honestly, if you told me it was a leftover lasagna, I’d believe you.
I couldn’t even eat it. The only thing I ended up touching were the chips and salsa, which were fine, so I’m giving two stars instead of one. But yeah… definitely not what I was expecting

We have eaten here many times in past. Food is okay, not special or great. Service has always been spotty, but we tolerated it. Tonight it was non-existent. Sat down by the most unfriendly hostess ever (she is always this way). Got chips and salsa within about 5 minutes. We waited and we waited for our waiter/waitress to come get our drink or even our food order. After a solid 20 minutes of no service, we left without ordering. The guy at the register was like thank you. I thought to myself for nothing. Lazy service and poorly ran. Food has always been meh. Many other Mexican food choices around. Don’t need this one.

The food was good. The seating area was clean. The staff all seemed to be in a mood with one another. They were polite but short with us. Felt like we were enjoying good food while intruding on a personal matter.

I’ve have ate here many times and I’ve always loved it. But tonight, the bill came and we were told that their basic margaritas are over $6. They are on special for 1.99 some nights, but on Tuesdays apparently they charge more than that and our normal bill of $55 changed to $75. We called after we got home and they tried too tell us they were still on some kind of special for closer to $4/drink. Moral of the story, don’t go here on Tuesdays and expect a good margarita special, you won’t get it.

Under new ownership and we felt it showed. Iyr food was delivered piping hot in 5-10 minutes. Our service was with a smile and some jokes. We enjoyed how clean it was, not too loud, and they kept the chips coming!
