Looking for delicious Mexican food and great service I recommend you El Dorado family Mexican Restaurant in Oxnard all their food is delicious! Today I got a molcajete for 2people for pick up It comes with great portions! This dish comes with grilled beef,chicken,fish,spicy delicious sauced shrimp,cooked cactus,grilled onions,grilled Mexican cheese & green chiles & bacon wrapped shrimp with your choice of tortillas & chips & Salsa! We came in to watch a movie on July 4th so we walked around oxnard having a hard time finding a place that was open. Luckily we found El Dorado. Immediately when we were sat we had homemade chips. Staff was very attentive. They had full bar and all the food we got was top notch. Important to support local businesses and was happy to during the holiday.

Atmosphere and music was fun! There were two separate Birthday parties that were enjoying themselves as well. The food was delicious, the salsa is out of this world and the servers were so friendly & attentive!!! Another BIG plus is the Flan, for dessert, it’s the BEST I’ve EVER tasted, and I’ve tasted LOTS of it in my life…We’re coming back for sure

I try to get something different every time I come here, I can attest to the arroz con pollo, the birria chimichanga are my constant “go to” dishes. My friend always gets the sopas and he says they’re great as well.

We stopped here for dinner after taking the train. The food was pretty good, but the music was way too loud!!! We measured it at over 100 decibels! We couldn’t even hear each other very well when yelling, let alone trying to ask the waitress questions or give our order. It was ridiculous to say the least! I have been to concerts that were not this loud! It isn’t a club or a dance hall, it’s a restaurant. Our drinks were never refilled and we asked for chips and a container of salsa to go and never received it. When I walked out my ears were ringing and I had a headache. I will definitely not be going back to dine in. Maybe take out because the food was decent.

We had originally gone out to eat at other places but those were overcrowded. This place was a couple of blocks down and looked decent enough. The food took a bit longer than usual but we were told there was a new cook. We waited patiently and were not disappointed when our food came out. The sea food we ordered was very delicious and we were highly impressed. It was a bit too much that we had to take home but very satisfying. The only thing we did dislike was the very loud music and very loud staff/customers. It was hard to speak and or hear my partner who was sitting right next to me. The waiter ended up asking for our order again about 15 minutes after we ordered. Our guess was that she was not sure if she got everything correctly. We’re glad she made sure everything was right before we got the wrong orders.

We came in from out of town and were looking for a place to have a good Mexican dinner. Found this place and absolutely loved it! Very authentic. I ordered a chile relleno, and it was like my mom cooked it. Highly recommend this place! Customer service a five star!!
