They had Christmas music playing and good seating. It was helpful to have explanations of the spanish menu items for non-spanish speakers. They had desserts, meals, and sides. Thru had sodas and candy from Mexico. It’s tucked away just off of 500 S. Basic but very good food.

Foods great! Little hole in the wall place, it’s not full service, you have to get your own sides like salsa, onions etc and you get your name called to pick up your food. Not cheap, 1 combination plate of lengua with no drink is 20 bucks paying with a card, not sure if it would be the same price paying cash. The Fact that it’s not full service makes me question the tip option on the tablet when you go to pay, I hate it guess it’s the norm now Other than that food is great.

We came across this place using social media and it does not disappoint. I ordered the plate with the carnitas as my meat, it came with 4 corn tortillas on the side. My meal was absolutely delicious. I loved adding the green sauce which added so much flavor to my plate. My husband ordered a burrito with asada meat and he chowed his down. The chips and salsa were fantastic and came with lots of chips which we loved. Overall would definitely have again and again and again.

Would have taken pictures of the food, but I ate it so fast because it was so delicious. The food tastes so fresh. The son works on the counter and a mom is the chef! Taste like home cooking and authentic Mexican food. I had the street tacos. It was delicious. My wife had the burrito. She thought it was amazing! This is a hidden jewel of Bountiful.

We stopped in for a few tacos. The place was very clean and cashier was friendly. Salsa bar was tidy with standard selections. Taco tortillas were small street size with a good portion of meat, beans were delicious. We tried Al pastor, verde, carne asada, lengua, cabeza, and chicken. The Carne Asada was the favorite. I will be back to try the posole. Burritos looked amazing here.

We’re so glad we found an authentic Mexican restaurant nearby and even more thrilled that they serve Menudo on Sundays. It was our first time trying it, and just wow. The broth was rich and flavorful. Everything we ordered was so good. Highly recommended if you’re looking for real, authentic Mexican food.

After seeing a 4.8 review, I was excited to try this place…… however, I was greatly disappointed by my experience. The food tasted like it was either cooked in old oil or had been sitting in a warmer all day. The meat was chewy, and the rice was mushy. We ordered 2 dishes, sopes, quesadilla, and a burrito.
Pros- super friendly staff and very generous food portion size.
Cons- quality of food and flavor was missing.

This place is one of my favorites!! Such a gem. I come here all the time and it’s consistently delicious every time. Authentic, and the flavor is out of this world with every dish I’ve tried!! Usually get an assortment of tacos – or their enchiladas!

I’d heard great things about this place, and I finally made it in to try. Right after you order, they tell you all of the food will come out together. I ordered chips and salsa so this seemed odd, but I figured they’d done this a time-or-two, so I trusted what they said and took a seat.
After a moment I realized there are salsas you can get on your own, so I loaded up. About that time, my freshly-fried chips were at the table, and I was ready to start enjoying!!
The food was delicious, and the sauces added a great way to spice it all up to my liking. I’m glad I was able to finally try this out, because now I have a new go-to when those Mexican cravings kick in, like they so frequently do.
It should also be noted, they have the best horchata I’ve had anywhere. I’m not sure what they do differently, but oh my, it’s delicious.
