Amazing pizza! We usually visit a pizza restaurant in downtown Montgomery that we heard about, until we discovered this place. We paid $25 for a large pizza and it tasted great! Our braided crust contained spinach. We’ve never had a pizza with visible seasonings and toppings that taste like they are straight from the garden. They take carry out orders only, but I guess it keeps the costs down. The pizza names are interesting so we went with the familiar “supreme”. I even love the way they answer the phone! I will definitely order here again the next time I’m in town.

Walked in and ordered The Big Ugly awhile back and it was one of the most exquisite pizzas I’ve ever had. Literally has everything on it that the menu said it would, but it wasn’t too much, didn’t taste overloaded or anything. Absolutely delicious. The lady up front was nice and so was the guy in the back making the pie. I even asked to make a modification to it and they were happy to do it. I’m not in Montgomery often, but if I get hungry for pizza again when I’m there, I’m going to CABGAS.

We stopped on our way through Montgomery and were blown away by the taste and quality of the pizza. We got a King Kamehameha and it was fantastic, definitely going back the next time we ride through. The service was great and staff was excellent!

Disclaimer: I’m vegan, and I was visiting the South, where being vegan often means fewer food options than I’m used to in Los Angeles. So when I saw a vegan pizza on the menu, I didn’t hesitate to try it. I’ve had plenty of vegan pizzas during my travels, so I have a good reference point for comparison. The crust was nice—soft, twisted, and reminiscent of a soft pretzel. But the sauce was bland, and despite the variety of toppings, the flavors didn’t stand out. The wait wasn’t too bad, about 15 minutes, though there’s no seating, and it was pretty busy with several people waiting outside for their orders. I’m almost inclined to think their non-vegan options might have more flavor, given the crowd.

The pizza at CABGAS is something I still think about. The restaurant was a bit out of the way for me, where I was headed, but I wanted to support and I am so glad I did. I have never had a pizza like it and I’ve had pizza everywhere. The service was friendly and the pizza was piping hot. We loved it and will go again.

Wow, 5 stars from me. Extremely kind people. They snuck us an extra pizza muffin (which is a fantastic creation). Pizza was so tasty, warm, with exceptional dough and crust. I appreciate the twisted crust detailing. Enormous slices too.
As a New Yorker, this is some top notch pizza!!! I always have low hopes for non North-East pizza but this place quickly proved me wrong.
The marinara they served with the pizza muffin was top tier as well.

The place was easy to find, and we got our pizza pretty quickly. The whole vibe of the place was really chill, and the dudes that work there were all super nice. That pizza was somethin else tho! Absolutely delicious! The crust was soft and they definitely don’t skimp on toppings. Can’t wait to come back n try some other pizzas! 🙂
