If you haven’t eat here then what are you doing with your life?!!! This has got to be the best, most authentic tacos I’ve had in Nashville in a very long time! The wait wasn’t long the food was hot. And delicious. The steak wasn’t hard or chewy like most steak tacos at other places. The portions were friendlier than you would expect for the price. The people are super nice. It’s a little hole in the wall right up from where we live. I don’t see it being a secret for long they’ll soon gain traction if it keeps going the way it is. 10/10 recommend

Oscar was very friendly and attentive! I couldnt decide so i tried the nacho with both chicken and steak. Both meats were cooked delicious and tender. They also have alcoholic beverages and that mango margarita had a kick! The price was very reasonable for the amount of food i had. The palce was clean and comfortable. Ill be back!

One week of taco-ritas before you find food has sprouted a kitchen hair! Tasty beans and well cooked rice with a steak and chips sliders. Okay. Next time wondering how to keep a cleaned plate, fast (too fast) service and chips are the best part. Not having a good day, just a good plate please.

This feels like a typical, family owned small business restaurant. An open room of 10 tables with chair seating, a few TV’s and colorfully painted cinder block walls — the perfect environment for enjoying a good lunch. We walked in and selected our table and was immediately greeted with a menu. Upon delivery of our drinks, we ordered and our food arrived 6 minutes later. So fast!
My son ordered a cheese quesadilla with rice. I had the burrito pollo. Both were excellent. My chicken was grilled and chopped which I prefer over a boiled and shredded chicken that you get in most other restaurants. We also ordered chips and queso. The chips appeared cut and fried onsite due to their thickness and irregular shape. I loved it.
All in all the price was right and the place unassuming. Worth a visit — reminds me of a bodega restaurant that I would recommend to anyone.

I opted for the vegetarian tacos de aire, a gluten-free dish featuring corn tortillas. The serving was generous, loaded with cauliflower, carrots, avocado, refried beans, onions, and green peppers atop fried corn tortillas.
This is the 6th location for El Cubilete which opened just two months ago. It occupies a formerly inconspicuous cinder block building, now painted with vibrant colors.
For an authentic Mexican meal, I highly recommend this spot.

Possibly one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to. The food was very good. Prices were reasonable. It was jam packed and we were the only gringos but the food was out quick and the staff was super nice. Thank you!

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Nashville. I’ve been there a couple times so far and the food is absolutely amazing! The servings are pretty big and the price is super affordable, especially for what you get. But it’s not just serving size, the food is incredibly delicious.And the service is phenomenal.
