I gave three stars to be generous because of the people being nice but I got the tres amigos and the rice with cheese sauce was like white rice with the peas and corn mixed in it and it was horrible. The steak, shrimp and chicken wasn’t bad but that was the worse rice I’ve ever had for a dish like that. The plate was also small for almost $17. I doubt I’ll be back but it was a good atmosphere, very quiet

Food was very basic tex mex and just fine. Chips were warmed and good crunch to go with mild but tasty salsa. Margarita was ok -just sour mash mix. Went in for late lunch and were warmly greeted. Definitely pay attention to all the reviews saying ‘family friendly’. Apparantly that means you can rock in with four kids who yell, run around and bang their silverware nonstop loudly on the table. Even if the food were better, I will skip this place in the future. Nice staff, decent food, horrible atmosphere. Just a reminder, nobody but you think your kids are as cute as you do.

Good food and fun atmosphere, but disappointed that itemized checks are not given. Dined in last night and ended up double tipping, as ticket did not reflect automatic gratuity that was added (parties of 5>). When I called this morning and spoke to restaurant employee, I was informed that card could not be credited. Lesson learned!

Have been going to El Coyote for years. I consider it Stephanie approved. I’ve lived in highly populated areas where Hispanic food is everywhere. They make good Mexican. I’ll drive there from Huntsville often for it. They have the thinnest crispest chips with the best salsa! I got the street taco deal with one extra taco. My husband got the fajita nachos. They were both delicious. The fruit punch margarita was so good. My husband asked for a regular margarita but he got the blue. It was ok, he liked it more than I did. We spent $65 bucks. I won’t be getting drinks again. For me $12 dollars is too much for that size of margarita. Way too much.

The only thing I don’t like is they have large pieces of onion and tomatoes in the taco meat. I have to pick a ton of it out. I haven’t had this problem at other Mexican restaurants. Other than that the place is great. Friendly staff and clean environment
