This is a charming Peruvian restaurant with authentic. Peruvian cuisine. Nothing fancy but clean and spacious enough to accommodate a medium crowd.
I ate cow heart as an appetizer and thought I was eating a piece of skirt steak. It was so good. I also had a lamb shank plate, the meat seasoned to perfection to the point I did not taste that gamey flavor. The fish ceviche was out of this world and the presentation was perfect. And the lomo saltado, mouth watering. So get out of your Mexican restaurants. They’re excellent. However, there is more to Latin American fare to discover. Hit the other Latin-American diners around the OC, and take home a different culinary experience that will leave you coming back for more.

Amazing food is here! Feeling very fortunate to try their amazing food at corporate party where they provided catering. Every seafood and meat dish was full of flavor and delicious. Could not wait to visit the restaurant. Highly recommend. Thank you guys for bringing your national cuisine over here.

Update: 11/11/21 — what a great awesome difference on customer service!!!!! ….new girl Adriana provides great service with a wonderful smile. She got our order correct, was courteous and pleasant. Food continues to be delicious!!!!!

2020–Delicious and authentic Peruvian food. Their servings are of good size. Owner is very nice. Hole in the wall places always serve the best food; on the other hand, give them a lil slack on customer service…..there is room for improvement. Plenty of parking in the back and entrance is in the back too.

The wait was long, and we were the only table in the restaurant.
The anticuchos were cold and a little dry. 3/10
The ceviche and leche de tigre were a 10/10.
The pollo a la brasa is one of the best I ever tried in OC, a solid 9/10.
The lomo saltado with too much Sillao, I will give a 7/10.

The pionono was ok. A little more of manjar blanco would do the trick an 8/10.
Chicha morada an 5/10.
Maracuya a 7/10.

They had a hard time trying to figure out how to use the system. It took them 20 minutes to get our check, and we were the only ones in the restaurant!!!

Even though the waiter was very slow and the wait was very long, he was very nice and helpful.

They had Mexican music in a peruvian restaurant. There is nothing wrong with it, but we requested a little more authentic music, which they did. But it was southamerican music in general. It became a quiz for us to guess from which country was it.

The bathroom is very clean, and the place is clean as well, considering it is in Santa Ana. Not disrespect, but the area is not the nicest one.

If they fix the service, the anticuchos, the chicha, and maracuya juice, it will be a hit. I will be back to another pollo a la brasa to go for sure.

I was hungry. It was good until I wasn’t. Food is a bit salty. Service was quite good even though the waiter did not know English. The chef has to translate the request.

First time ar this place. My first thought that the pricing it’s a little bit high, but when looking at the portion of the fried chicken breast and noodles, well it’s very well portioned ( a little too much for me). The taste of the basil/spinach sauce it’s pretty good as well as the taste of the large piece of chicken. The little green spicy sauce it’s pretty flavorful as well. I will definitely recommend this place. It’s a little jewel hidden in Santa Ana. Love it!!!

We got the Lomasalatada and the Arroz chaufa de mariscos. The food was amazing, could taste the fire and the sea. The atmosphere is cozy and homey. Very friendly service. Would come again.
