Man this place was good! Staff was very friendly and the food was really tasty. A nice little stop after a 1.5h drive from LA. Glad we spotted it while looking for something to do. LOVED the asada fries and tacos. I wish I ordered more

We stopped at this little taco shop next to a gas station on our drive to Yosemite and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick, and my shrimp taco was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and just what I needed on the road. My friend ordered the rolled tacos, and not only did they look amazing, but she said they were really good too. A great little hidden gem for a quick bite!

They have really good Mexican food here. They are right next to the Chevron/mini-market.
Their food is hot, fresh and very good. They do have a dinning area, but, it is closed, including the rest rooms, all food is to go. They do not have a drive through.
I ordered a carnitas burrito, it is huge, I couldn’t eat it all, took half home.

I have been at this establishment, several times. It was, usually, when I would visit my family in High Desert. The meals, that I would order, were delicious. At the same time, they were well-made. The wait lines, to order food, were not long. In addition, they moved quickly. The staff were really helpful and attentive. It is located next to the mini-mart of the gas station. Of course, prices too, were not on the expensive side. So, if anyone needs to stop and grab a quick bite of food, I would recommend a visit to this establishment!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I was a bit skeptical with the 2.8 reviews but I’m so glad I took the chance to try this place out! It’s a wonderful little hole in the wall with amazing Carne Asada Fries! I saw the only other review on these fries and I was immediately turned off. Obviously that lady had left it out for a few hours cause her guacamole was brown so I knew I couldn’t trust her review Just LOOK AT THESE PICTURES. I took my to go plate to a nice park nearby and enjoyed my meal under some nice shade with an ice cold Coca-Cola bottle Please try this place out!! P.S: Other places sell their asada fries for 13 buck and I got all this for 10!

Can’t rate the food seems like they’re always closed. Says 8:30 they were closed by 7:45. Don’t think I’ll try their food any time soon!

This was some amazing food!! Everything from the beans and salsa and up was great. Our group (take out) got chicken taquitos, bean and cheese burrito, shrimp/camarón burrito and both the carne asada burrito and chimichanga and everything wowed us. And for a simple bean and cheese burrito burrito to wow I feel like takes something! .

You do pay for this kind of quality of course, but for the size and wow factor – very reasonable prices.

Edit: Apparently the owner is in denial. There’s a reason your place is 3 stars bud. Your food is clearly inconsistent and maybe you need to figure out why that is. Also if that meat I. Ought was “fresh” as you say it is then that’s pretty sad that your quality of product is so low. Instead of telling reviewers they are lying you should put that energy into making better food.

The ladies here were friendly but the food was not good. I had high hopes since the lady said I was getting fresh asada but I’m sorry the asada, lengua, birria, carnitas and pastor were all flavorless. They said they may be opening a food truck but I think they need to just figure out how to serve atleast decent food. There’s a reason they have to send the ladies home and close when there’s no business coming in. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The carne asada is really good here. Tacos came with plenty of meat and the asada burrito also came with a lot of meat. I normally dont like salsa roja from a lot of places because it just burns and has no flavor, but the one from this place was spicy and had flavor.
