We love El Columpio. Best place in mitchell. Friendly staff. They make you feel at home. Great portions. Always great food. And amazing drinks. I recommend the queso burrito and the queso birria tacos. And any margaritas! And the mango cake!!

Stopped here for the night on our way back to NC. We stayed in the hotel next door and walked over for supper. What an amazingly delicious meal!! The absolute best taco salad I have ever had. My husband said his enchiladas were some of the best he’s ever had. The ingredients were fresh and so good!! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The service was fast and we weren’t the only folks there. Highly recommend!!!!

I absolutely love this place, just went there for my first time ever (thanks to my parents) and was amazed. I got the Mango Enchiladas and it was just delicious. The service was so friendly and nice. Place is kept very clean and they treated us so well.

Great food with a very welcoming server. The food was very authentic and tasted great, loved the presentation of it as well. I took one star off from the Atmosphere because there were too many flies in the restaurant. Besides that, I would highly recommend this place!

Excellent service. Fajitas for two with steak and shrimp was very tasty- fresh cilantro, delicious shrimp, guac had great flavor. Appropriate portion size. Atmosphere more fast food than dine-in dinner.

Julia was very pleasant, offering certain items to compliment our meal. Not sure if the gentleman‘s name but he checked on us frequently as well ensuring that we didn’t need refills or our plates taken away. Very friendly very good food nice atmosphere is my daughter 16th birthday. We’re pleasantly pleased.

Busy restaurant with so-so food. Floors were dirty and could have used a vacuum but the staff was very busy so I’m not sure if they had time. Food wasn’t bad but I was expecting more from all the rave reviews. Food making experience was very quick. However, it did take a while to get our bill taken care of.

Dad and I stopped here on a fishing trip not knowing what to expect. Tremendous food I had the special which I can’t explain how good it was. My Dad had some combination of Carne asada, shrimp and 2 rancheros enchiladas which he devoured . If you like Mexican food I highly recommend plus the menu was very diverse compared to most Mexican places in Omaha (where I’m from) just be prepared to spend a little more than what I’m used to paying for Mexican but I would pay more than what their prices are for the food it was so good it’s justified.
