Bustling locale dishing up classic Puerto Rican eats, including mofongo, churrasco & queso frito.

Our first dining experience was on Friday at 1:30 pm. We were greeted and seated promptly. There was Salsa music playing at reasonable volume and the low customer chatter added to the ambiance.
The restaurant was clean and
asthetically pleasing. Our server offered great customer service by cheerfully switching to English when I told her my husband doesn’t speak Spanish which he truly appreciated. My husband and I both ordered from the special lunch menu. I ordered alcapurria, bistec empanizado, arroz blanco y habichelas and a side of tostones my husband ordered the chicharron de pollo and arroz con gandules. The generous portion size allowed for leftovers. I was pleasantly surprised to find my alcapurria was filled with meat from end to end. The steak was thick yet very tender, the breading was crispy and light. The fried chicken chunks were crispy and seasoned perfectly. We found the food to be fresh, hot and flavorful.
Given our experience we have decided to add this restaurant to our regular dining options.

A place with beautifully presented dishes, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. However, personally, the flavor of the food was not what I expected. For a Puerto Rican restaurant, it has a resemblance, but it doesn’t taste as authentic as the food back home in Puerto Rico. Also, for the price they charge, the portion of protein is quite small — they only serve about seven pieces of pork chunks in each main dish. Still, the overall experience was positive thanks to the great service and ambiance.

El Cilantrillo at Florida Mall was absolutely delicious. Everything had such a comforting, homey taste, the kind of food that feels like it was made with love. We had the pernil, tostones rellenos with carne, fried cheese, and the arroz mampoyao, and every dish was amazing. Even the arroz con habichuelas was packed with flavor, and the chuleta with arroz con guandules was cooked perfectly. We finished with their chocolate cake, which was the perfect ending to an incredible meal.
We also loved the live music playing, it really added to the atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and although it was a bit busy, they still provided great service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My partner and I visited this restaurant on Oct. 31 for Lunch. The food was very good but we were dissapointed with the service. When we came in, there was nobody at the front desde for about 10 minutes although there were 2 hostesses. We decided to sit at the bar and we ordered some drinks and later we ordered Lunch. It took a while before we got our lunch. In the kitchen there seems to be a party. Loud talking and celebration while customers waited for the food. Outside the bartender and waiters just taking, no work bring done. Seemed to us that they are either overstaff or they are not well manage.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was exceptionally delicious, prepared with evident care and attention to detail. The service was equally impressive—staff members were attentive, courteous, and made us feel truly welcome. In addition, the prices were very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for families; in fact, we found it to be a great value for a family of four. Overall, the experience was both enjoyable and memorable, and we are certain that we will be returning in the near future.

We tried this place based on the Google reviews, it was very good. Although, it was absolutely amazing I gave them only 4-stars is because it was incredibly loud in there ordering was a challenge. We ordered an appetizer platter that was $45 (to get a sample of numerous items) and a dinner platter that was $80 (also to get a sample of several items) but unfortunately the server did not explain that they were almost the same dish. Although, we could have read the menu better it was not well understood the were so similar. We had two adults and one child. We paid $150 but had enough food for four to-go containers in which we packaged to give out to homeless people. We are just traveling through and will not have an opportunity to eat the leftovers (unfortunately).

Cilantrillo is an absolute gem in Orlando. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, vibrant, and authentically Puerto Rican. The service was attentive and genuinely friendly, which made the entire experience even better.
The food was exceptional. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can tell they put a lot of care into their recipes and ingredients. The mofongo was one of the best I’ve had, and the seasoning was on point. Portions were generous, and the flavors were unforgettable. Nancy took care of our table and she was top notch attentive. A professional on her craft.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that combines amazing food, great service, and a welcoming vibe, Cilantrillo is the place. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

El Cilantro, located by The Florida Mall, offers an exceptional dining experience. From the moment we entered, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness. The service was swift without compromising on quality, and every detail was meticulously handled with professionalism. Our waiter, Jesse, was exceptional.
The generous portions ensured that every meal was satisfying, and each dish was served hot and according to the customer’s order. The restaurant itself exudes cleanliness, comfort, and well-maintained ambiance, providing an ideal setting for relaxation and enjoyment during a shopping trip.
Highly recommend
