Been to this place before, used to have great food. Not sure if management changed but food is terrible now. Costumer service also terrible. Cashier was stingy with sugar when I bought coffee for homeless man.

I like the fact that you can get Salvadorian dishes or Mexican.
Since it’s located in a lower-income area, the atmosphere is not even mid-tier.

I love their pupusas with black beans and cheese . The rice is really good as well. They also have great customer service.

The pupusaa were a perfect size, dense & delicious. The carne asada burrito was bomb. The carne was well seasoned and tender. I did not care for the green salsa. I’ll be back though!!

A small 8 table restaurant located in a small strip mall near the 105 freeway.
The Lomo Soltado is delicious. The meat is tender and seasoned to perfection and the veggies and rice are excellent, as well. I had the menudo which was good but not great. I prefer to have hominy in my soup and this menudo doesn’t come with any. The tortillas are hand made, estilo Salvadoreña and are tasty and stayed hot for HOURS (jk). We also ordered some cheese and chicharron and revuelto pupusas and the fried banana for dessert, which are also very good.
Overall a must try for a hearty and inexpensive meal.
