Stopped here to watch the band today (the Gecko Band). It was a great time – and good band that we have seen often!

Pro Tip – order your beer in buckets and ask for ice (often) – you will wait less and the beer is colder. Same price – no “up-charge”

11/11/25 Herman was my server, I ordered breakfast, eggs, bacon & hotcakes. The hot cakes were epic especially the sweet butter with fruit!
For a to go order I got the huge chicken burrito and the Avocado with shrimp for later and it was incredible, very large Avocado with shrimp enough for 4 people!
Herman said he will take care of me and he did! I will be returning later this week!! Thank you!!

The band is great but I’ve been sitting here over half an hour and haven’t even been offered a menu.
Here’s a photo of the server looking after the table next to me that came in 5 minutes ago. I’m actually a server myself and am absolutely boggled by being totally ignored, I tipped the band so I’ve already shown I’m not cheap. I’m one of the few white people here so maybe that’s it
Adding that i waited a while longer trying to get someone’s attention then left in sheer disgust as they were cleaning the table to the other side of me while I sat there

Was pretty good but they can’t divide the bill up. The bill goes for table no matter how many people are sitting there. So good luck figuring out who owes what.

Great place to grab drinks and food on the beach. My mojito was amazing. Lots of vendors walk by so you can buy what you need here. Also you can ride a horse on the beach from here.

Food is not worth the price, the service is terrible and they take forever to even take your order. If you do not have a non Latin physical appearance they don’t even bother to come to your table to take your order or bring you what you ask for, however if you are of another racial appearance, they immediately will be attentive. Really sad. Will never come back.

Classic bar on the beach in Mexico. This is the place songs are written about. Not fancy and beer is by the bucket. But the perfect Saturday afternoon vibe. Gecko Band is unreal!
