This place was a gem of a find! A most try! The Corn Dip and Korean BBQ Tacos we’re amazing! We absolutely love this place! It’s a bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it. We’ll most definitely be going back! Along with the great food, the restaurant was cute and the owners and staff were awesome! Can’t say enough about this place!

Very rarely do I get blown away by a restaurant, but I was absolutely blown away by my experience at El Charro. The food was creative and delicious, and the service was top notch. We live an hour away from Decherd, but we will definitely make the drive again just to eat at El Charro. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you give them a try. You won’t regret it!

NOT just another Mexican restaurant! We tried El Charro when everything else in town was overcrowded, and VERY glad we did! Staff was wonderful, food was amazing. This place has a unique menu different from the other places in town, while still featuring your must-haves. Chops and salsa we’re excellent, cheese dip was perfect. We tried the chicken taco salad, the chicken quesadilla, and the southern fried chicken tacos. ( It was a chicken night) Best quesadilla I have ever had. Also tried the cinnamon roll for dessert and it was sinful.

It’s not very often that I leave a restaurant completely satisfied. The food was fresh, delicious, and unlike anything you can get in the area. All the staff was friendly, welcoming, and worked together together. Overall a wonder experience. It’s a new business that I would love to see do well with its fresh idea and style that the area needed. I will definitely be back.

FOOD IS AMAZING- Nice size portions for the price! The staff if super friendly, service was A-1 & food was delivered to our table in a timely manner! The chicken had great flavor & the rice was fluffy! Finally Decherd has a Mexican grill but not like all the other Mexican Restaurants around town! We will definitely be back as we enjoyed it so much! Clean, remodeled building!!

I ordered the mixed fajitas. (Beef and chicken) very tender beef, and chicken.
Cooked perfectly with the onions and peppers caramelized. They do provide complementary chips and salsa which was very good. The service was outstanding, and they were very friendly.

Best place in town hands down! Our new favorite place to go! Bubba’s Fish Tacos are amazing! The Burrito is great! And those empanadas are mouth watering! Great service and super friendly staff! If you haven’t been you’re definitely missing out!

We were in Estill Springs for the day and was looking for a good Mexican restaurant and found this gem. The restaurant was really clean, The staff was friendly and helpful, best of all…the food was GREAT! Starting with the salsa, it was mild…even our two year old loved it. We also ordered mimosas and margaritas, both were excellent. The menu offered something for everyone including kids. We live a little over an hour away but we will definitely be back. Why are you still reading…go eat!

This place has the complete package. The service, fantastic. Atmosphere, great! Food and selection was delightful. Everything about this place is done to a level that you would expect in a large city, not necessarily small town. They put in an awesome effort on their brand and experience. The menu was beautiful and I was so happy to find alternatives to traditional Mexican Style food, including French Toast and a delicious looking burger. Be sure to try it out! It’s different from any other restaurant nearby. If you haven’t already, take a look at some of their beautiful dishes on Instagram.

Our first visit to the restaurant They were very accommodating friendly and went beyond all to cater to the customers. Great service for sure. Food was edible but not great. Can do better at home. Can certainly get much better for the same price elsewhere. They maybe opened too soon? Need more experience in the business. Menu for breakfast was much more interesting. May go there and try breakfast but won’t be back for dinner.
