My fiancé and I, plus a few others (volunteers from our church’s food pantry) ate dinner here after helping at the food pantry. The chips and salsa, and cheese enchiladas with rice and beans were very good! My fiancé said his Burrito Fiesta was delicious. I did not hear any complaints from the rest of the group. I would recommend this restaurant for a lovely Mexican dinner. :))

Been pretty unhappy with the service lately. Have had extended wait times for orders placed long in advance though usually the order is correct. Tonight we ordered and paid over $5 for guacamole and paid for an extra bag of chips and salsa. We received a soufflé cup of guacamole which should have been about $1 worth and received about a 99¢ bag of chips worth of tortillas that we actually had to drive back to get because they forgot to add it to the original order.

Today, I took my son out for lunch, and he wanted some Mexican food. We selected El Charro because of the Upside app giving 17% cash back. We found the food to be good. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. The manager seated us, and we immediately received salsa and chips. Our waiter was enjoyable to talk to and took our drink order right away and allowed us a minute to survey the menu. We ate lunch and the food was brought to us fast and was hot. I ordered the Chicken Fujita, and my son ordered the #4 off the lunch menu. Our waiter made sure our drinks were filled and stopped by frequently to make sure we were alright. The cost of both meals was just $21. We were satisfied with our dining experience.

This place is pretty good. Just average Mexican food. The veggies in the Fajitas could be cooked longer to improve the flavor, which can be said of most restaurants. I would probably eat here again.

Very friendly server and the food was excellent. I had a chicken chimichanga, which was very good, but surprisingly it was the refried beans that stole the show, as they were creamy and delicious. Definitely a hidden gem.

Tried El Charo on my cousin’s suggestion and went with the chicken and rice with cheese — and wow, it didn’t disappoint. The chicken was tender, the rice had great flavor, and the cheese sauce tied everything together perfectly.

Simple dish, but done really well. Portion size was generous without being overwhelming, and the staff were friendly and quick. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving good Mexican comfort food.

I thought the food was good. For some reason their salsa did not wow me as it has in the past. I’m curious if they have had to change it. Service was good, price and portion were reasonable.
They have dividers, outdoor seating, and ask for patrons to wear a mask when entering.

Very good food and a lot of seating for bigger groups etc. Even though it was lunch time and they were slammed, food came out fresh and fast.

Don’t listen to the bad comments on here about this place. This place was awesome!!! It’s in a strange location, but worth the hunt. They had $1.99 margaritas! How can you go wrong with that! And it was on a Friday night.

So they could use a little maintenance on the inside, so it looks like the electrical wiring is completely hanging out of several lights, so what if one booth looks like the rest of the ceiling might ‘give-way’ and the light will fall completely on someone’s head in that booth. Just don’t sit someone in that booth!

Why am I such an advocate for this place you might ask? Because this was the only Mexican restaurant out of three that we went to that actually had somewhat normal salsa! It wasn’t super sweet and it wasn’t gross. It was good! And it probably had the best hands down Mexican food I’ve ever had! Well one dish in particular. It was called the “pollo indiana “!!! Omg it was amazing. If you have ever had and like Arroz con pollo from other mexican restaurants,then You are gonna LOVE this dish. It is that, but with chorizo on top. The chicken is actually one big flat piece, with all the yummy cheese covered toppings drizzled all over. They don’t put it on the rice, which is on the side, but you can easily scoot it over in the cheese. This dish was awesome! It is a must have. Also the waitress brought us our own pitcher of water. Now I know some people might think that this is her way of being lazy, but I actually appreciated it. That way I don’t have to wait on refills. They also had Delicious Queso. It had small bits of jalapeños in it. But don’t be alarmed, it wasn’t overwhelming and too spicy at all.
There is also Something called the anaconda challenge for those big eaters. Some people like those sort of challenges. We steered clear of that. But it is an option for you. I think you win a free T-shirt and your meal is free.
I am happy we discovered this little hidden gem. There were a lot of locals there, so you know that is always a positive.
