It doesn’t feel like we’re in Opp. The food is by far the best Mexican I’ve had since I’ve been in Alabama. I have lived in SoCal, central Florida and upstate NY. This place has the best tasting Mexican. We ordered the Carne Asada fries, California Veggie plate, Mexican Fried Rice, and Seafood nachos (subbed the chips for rice), horchata, root beer, and lemonade. Great for date nights, family night, or events. They have an enclosed section in the back. Great music. And this is not a paid or requested review. I went out of my way with this review because I was extremely impressed with the food and service.

Oh how I love this restaurant.. the people are always smiling and talkative, Most of them recognize me when I come in, and a few take a minute to come over just to say hi..
The food is ALWAYS on point, especially the steak tacos Americana.. (which I honestly eat too many of..lol)
The seafood burrito, cannot be beat for flavor and portion size..(it covers the plate) and of course the Steak Jalisco.. Always tender, covered in onions and mushrooms , and then topped with Queso.. OMG so delicious.

Update: My husband and I dined here yesterday. The food was much better the second time around.
This restaurant is fairly new. The facilities were clean and cozy. The service was good. The food was good but a bit bland to my liking. My husband loved his dish. The portions are large. The chips and dip were very good.

Good food. I had a combination meal. It included a beef burrito, chicken quesadilla, and a Chile relleno. Everything was good except the Chile relleno. The relleno would be much better if it was crispy. Too soft and too mushy for my taste. Cool atmosphere. Restaurant is laid out nicely. One of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. Google photos need updated, too. Menu photo shows a year ago.

Service was very poor. We sat at our table for 20+ minutes before a waiter came to our table— all the while 2 female staff and one (appeared to be a manager) male staff sat at a table looking at us or on their phones. Many employees were present but only an appeared to be doing anything and gravitated toward a specific table. The food is okay for the price but disappointed that my burrito was room temp. Likely will not be returning due to an drastic decline in service
