Cozy Mexican eatery with great food. Every item we had was delicious, and the cup for the horchata was just too cute! I enjoyed the super fajita – nicely seasoned and the meat was tender. Their complimentary chips and salsa were great to curb the hunger until the entrees came out. Veggie burrito and churros were delicious as well. I wonder if they have ice cream? I love warm churros with vanilla or cinnamon ice cream – would have to ask them next time.
All in all, nice addition to the delco food scene and look forward to going back.

Food was unbelievably delicious and seasoned. I ordered a couple of different dishes and they were all perfect. The server was very attentive and accommodating as he spoke Spanish to my partner but switched to English for me because I could understand but not speak very well. I would recommend this spot without hesitation to anyone that wants good food at a reasonable price.
Edit: We originally loved this restaurant the first few times that we went there. We raved about the food and recommended this to our friends and family but this time around, it was different. We ordered a few items which were all delicious but the Consomé that came with the Quesabirria was not good at all. It tasted watered down and we even felt bad about telling the staff about it. When we mentioned it to them and the body language of the woman changed completely and i did not feel welcomed at all at that point. They offered to change the consomé for us but since we were sitting next to the kitchen, we heard their conversation and it left such a poor impression on us that we wont be coming back. It such a shame because we genuinely loved this place.

The food is delicious and authentic. The chicken burrito is so wonderful, it doesn’t need salsa or sour cream. It’s one of the best burritos that I have ever eaten. The homemade guacamole is excellent, too. We highly recommend El Chapulin!

Great food ordering through Uber Eats. Glad I tried them next time I’ll eat in the restaurant. Live in Mexico 6-8 months out of the year and these are some of the most authentic flavors I & my family have had here in DELCO. We had tamales, birria burrito, chicken tacos and grilled jalapeños!

Ordered Uber Eats tonight and even called ahead to make sure my notes would print. Even so, my order arrived a little mixed up. When I called the restaurant, they didn’t hesitate — they personally drove over a fresh, hot order and had it at my door within 10 minutes. Truly above and beyond.
Mistakes happen, and this is exactly why you reach out before bashing a restaurant online. Their kindness, quick response, and willingness to make it right reminded me why I love this place so much.

Wow! The food was incredible and the customer service was great. I got the Birria Burrito (comes with chips and guac), Elote, and Fried Plantain dessert and every single thing was so good. The cream that’s on the plantains was exceptionally delicious. Everything was so flavorful and LARGE portions for very affordable prices. $25 for my 3 courses and I still have half the burrito and plantains left. Already planning on when I can return!
