We absolutely love El Chapin! The ownership and staff are amazing and the food is fantastic. The have a burger truck right next to it in case you want variety. They have seating available as well. It is very clean and very yummy.
We’ve had several of their plates from their tacos, carne asada fries, to their tacos chapines (rolled tacos) and they are all great.
I would definitely recommend.

This place has the best quesabirra tacos for the value I’ve seen in Colorado Springs, hands down. They give 4 quesabirria tacos for less than $15, and they are VERY good, and aren’t small. They come loaded with meat and topped with various vegetables without skimping at all. The consume sauce is plentiful and delicious. The meat is so flavorful, and the consume sauce is just the cherry on top. You will have left over onions and greens to add to every bite. You will be full, and satisfied with this order, and you’ll likely even have leftovers.
I also got a fish taco with chips and salsa. The fish was surprisingly grilled and not deep fried, which is a bonus, it was very good and less than 5 bucks. If you want authentic mexican food, specifically the quesabirras for a good value, this is the place to go!

We ordered delivery. It took a little longer than expected to arrive, but was worth the wait! The tacos, beans and rice and asada fries were all amazing. Best horchata I’ve had in a long time!! The quesadilla was great for our little one. Will definitely order again!!

This is my favorite Mexican food in COS! The ingredients are flavorful and fresh, the spice is on point, and everything I’ve had has been delicious! My favorite dish is probably the Tacos Chapines- maybe it’s all the fresh toppings combined with the crunchy rolled tacos. The tamale plate is sooo good and bring some heat and savory goodness mixed with a fresh bright green salsa and cool crema. The rice and beans are classic home style. The barbacoa tacos are so flavorful, and I love the little bit of crunch with the carnitas tacos! My kids love the burritos! I might be a little addicted to this place… Service is friendly and quick, and the outdoor seating is really fun and relaxing. Pricing is great!

This is a hill I will die on. Best. Tacos. In. The. City. Wonderful service, lovely people, cute little outdoor food truck restaurant atmosphere, AMAZING food. Today I had 3 chicken street tacos and they rocked my world and filled me up, the grilled chicken is perfect and I love the additions of radish, lime and grilled onions. Super affordable as well. Very good Mexican food. The place is so cute with the two different trucks and the seats, looks very nice! The burritos were delicious, full of stuff inside and so hot! The sauces are also both very hot ahah. The tacos were delicious as well, but so small! We were expecting “normal size” tacos, but these were mini.
Overall still very good, the prices are good..I would ask less for the tacos since they are so small but it’s fine!
