What a pleasant experience. It clearly states it is a family restaurant and not a fast food restaurant. It does take some time to get your food but WOW is it worth it.
I would like to tell you what to avoid, however there were 5 of us and we all had something different and there was not a complaint.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great breakfast and a great start to your day.

We stopped by this cozy little breakfast spot early in the morning and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.Everything was perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and quick, making it an easy choice for a relaxed, satisfying breakfast. We’ll definitely be coming back.

I ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict from their specials of the week menu.
They were spot on with the poached eggs and hollandaise.
The veggies all tasted very fresh.
All in all it was a great breakfast special.
I noticed they had some vegetarian options on the menu if that’s what anyone is looking for.
There were two rooms with seating.
One room had regular tables with chairs and the other room had mixed booths and tables with chairs.
The cafe can accommodate large groups, but I would definitely recommend making a reservation for a large group as they need to put tables together.
The service was very quick and efficient.
I noticed they were wearing holiday sweaters the day I was there.
I thought that was a fun holiday touch.
I’m very much looking forward to going back.

Needing to slow down and relax into the weekend, I recently venture out to The Apple Barn for a mid morning breakfast. It delighted my heart to see the restaurant full of people and families enjoying themselves eating a meal without pressure or worry. I was greeted with a smile and coffee , ordered my breakfast knowing it could take more time than most fast food dinners & restaurants. My breakfast was exquisite . I left with not only my belly full of joy, but my spirits. Will return in the near future . Highly recommend this experience for those who desire home cook food in a family environment. Refreshing!

I love it here! When its busy, the food will take a bit longer but only because everything is prepared to perfection. I usually strictly eat canned hash, but I am in love with their homemade hash! Definitely try a special, its always worth it. Stop by the bakery as well to take some stuff home for yourself, or for a gift!

If you are in a hurry. Or even in a slight time crunch. Or actually want to eat breakfast before dinner. If there is a wait. Do not go. I don’t think the kitchen knows how to handle a full house. We were told 30 min wait and it turned into 45. Not bad. I understand. We got our table, menus and juice and coffee. About 5 minutes we placed our order. As I write this we are still without food, 30 min and counting. So we have been here for over an hour 1/4 and still have not touch a bite of food. This is clearly a lack of kitchen management. The food may be amazing but for a local breakfast dive it should not be this long for food once sitting. Update: 45 min and counting no food. In what atmosphere is this even acceptable. 47 min we now have food. And in 10 minutes it’s gone. Honestly I could have cooked this entire place in my own kitchen faster than that. Omelet was plain. Lacked flavor. Potatoes were plain. Not even salt. The girls pancake and egg was basic. We had an avocado toast that although looked great. Lacked flavor. I never like to be harsh on the mom and pop places. And the staff out front was very nice and friendly but their hands are tied by the kitchen. If they split tips with the back it is an absolute crime. The back should owe me at this point. Beware if it’s busy!! Oh and as I was leaving I saw there are kids in the kitchen cooking. That may explain it. 50 bucks plus tip and half my day gone. Nope. Won’t return.

I love this place! This is my third time here and I come here almost every time I visit. The food is always so fresh and delicious and everyone is so friendly. It has the homey atmosphere I always look for when going to find breakfast while out.

This is one of the main reasons I love returning to Brimfield every year! Apple barn cafe’s service, delicious food , baked goods are all homemade and family run special feeling shines through ! satisfies when you need an oasis to come and unwind during and after the show! Mary as well as all the employees are like family and always will accommodate in any way! I accompanied Martha Stewart inside the restaurant, at her request when she came to visit me in my booth right in front of apple barn and she loved it! And commented on their fabulous baked goods! Try the apple fritters and apple dumplings ❤️

I love this good honest family run restaurant. The food is all fresh and delicious and I order there while I’m working the Flee Market during the week. Everything is great. Im addicted to the Apple dumplings so great you just keep thinking about them!

I live 90minutes away and the Apple Barn is always worth the trip!! You’ll feel like family and the food is always incredible (I personally suggest any of the benedicts or the cranberry & walnut pancakes).
