Stephanie provided great service! She’s very nice and professional. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant. We tried the conchitas, causa, and yucas a la huancaina as appetizers and all were delicious and had great presentation. Main dishes like lomo saltado and pescado Nazca are highly recommended. Great experience!

I recently placed a last-minute order through the restaurant’s app for a dinner party of 20 guests. I mentioned it was a special occasion and asked if they could make it extra nice. The staff went above and beyond—calling me several times to confirm details and ensure everything was perfect. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful presentation of the order, complete with real plates and elegant touches like orchids. The chef personally brought the food to my car, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
The arroz con mariscos was absolutely delicious, and all my guests raved about how flavorful everything was. It was a true success from start to finish. Yesterday was our first time at this place and the service was outstanding. As soon as we mentioned to the host that it was our first visit, the waitress immediately came over and was extremely helpful — such a great touch! The food was incredible: fresh, well-balanced, delicious, beautifully presented, and with generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, with live music that adds to the experience. Truly a hidden gem — I highly recommend it!

We’ve been here many times but TODAY was OVER THE TOP. If you truly enjoy great peruvian food, there is no other than this place. There are plenty of ceviche places but sorry, no one comes close. They are consistent in their super fresh quality. We go out of our way to come here. We usually have shrimp ceviche (always super fresh, not frozen & deveined), and the Jalea de Dioses. Like WOW! The service was also excellent – Stephany, our server was SUPER!

This is by far the best Peruvian restaurant in Kendal area. Amazing atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Plenty of parking space. Great live music for the weekend. Our waitress Pilar was very friendly and helpful with great knowledge about the menu. The portions are very generous and the food is delicious. I guess as a European I will love little better Selection of salad’s. The soup was amazing. Fried fish was great too. Appetizers was very well prepared. Food came fast and the right order. Will definitely comeback. Not very cheap but definitely you get what you pay for. Thank you El Shaman.

For starters, we ordered Conchitas Gratinadas, a delicious plate!. The Risotto, served as an entrée, was incredible. However, the Tacu Tacu with Lomo was a bit disappointing, the meat was dry and tough, and the fried rice and beans were burned, the plate was obviously overcooked.
The ambiance is decent, but I believe improvements could be made to the table conditions and overall restoration. On the positive side, the service was excellent; our waiter was great and very attentive.
Overall, it’s a nice place, but I’ll likely stick to my favorite Peruvian restaurant the next time I crave this amazing cuisine.

Food taste Amazing, even the French fries are better than Mc Donald and the Mojito better than the actual Mojito’s Restaurant. The service was great and very gentle staff.
If you are looking for a mix of great food, service and good environment this is your place.
They have someone singing, great voice and great guy.

We love everything about El Chaman. Everything on the menu is of high quality, prepared with excellence and tastes is exquisite. This restaurant is in a plaza and the outside is very common but when you step inside, the ambiance is very elegant as well as the service. I highly recommend El Chaman!
