We came for dinner on a Friday night and waited around 45 minutes just for our food to come out. We got the Quesadilla Hawaiiana which was delicious. If you like pineapple this is a good choice. We got the Pollo Tocino, which was cheesy and had lots of bacon. Very good. The chimichangas were ok, I got them with beef tips thinking they were steak tips, which wasn’t the case. Not the best chimichangas I’ve ever had, but ok. Overall good experience. If you want decent Mexican food in Welcome come here!

3rd time that we’ve been here. Best in the Lexington area by far. We’ve eaten at most of the Mexican restaurants over the years and could not find one that we were satisfied with. Myself, I had the asada street tacos. The salsa for the chips is nicely thick with some heat. The guacamole could be a little chunkier. My husband had the enchiladas super rancheras. He was very pleased with everything. We will be going back. Highly recommend!!

Omg. I’ve heard the hype for a year from people around town and family.
Tonight for new years we got to experience it for ourselves.
I do believe they are the BEST we have ever had in our life.
The beef hard tacos are phenomenal I had to order three to go.My mom who can’t eat certain things since COVID she was so happy to have a taco that taste great and she wants try it fresh.
My boyfriend go the taquitos.
I got the ACP Tex, the shrimp I’m very picky about and they were able to make it cooked enough to be still tender and not over cooked.
The energy is this place is so cozy and so fresh.
It definitely makes you feel your not in a small town from the big flavor.
If you have not tried them yet, run to try them you will not be disappointed!
I wish I had pictures but the food was too good and service was fast.

This is hard for me to write. We have been coming here for about a year now, and loved this place. My wife, mother in law, and I came to eat here a couple of weeks ago and had a horrible experience (bad service matched with bad attitude.) I don’t know what the problem with everyone on duty was, but it was not a good scene. We ordered our food as we always do, my mother in law is 83 and is a very picky eater. She asked that her vegetables be cooked, but not over cooked. The waiter said that he couldn’t guarantee it would be to her liking. We got our food and it was good, but it was not easy catching our waiter for things we needed, napkins, drinks, ect. This was a Saturday night around 9…. they advertised closing at 10. I thought it was weird when we pulled in, and didn’t see many customers there. You can tell that the mood definitely changed while we were eating there, I don’t know if it was over current world events or what but it was very unprofessional. I am disabled, and accidentally tipped the table as I was getting up. I told the waiter I was sorry. We’re just not very happy with how everything happened that evening and I don’t think we’ll be going there anytime soon. The bottom line is how rude the wait staff was.

We ate in. My wife had enchiladas and I had street tacos (steak/asada). Food was authentic and made with fresh ingredients. The steak tacos were delicious. Steak was tender and juicy. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended.

To begin, I do not have a sensitive stomach to mexican food. 2 days ago, I had dinner here. Over the next 24 hours, I had terrible food poisoning. I will never eat here again. Not only was the food radioactive apparently, the service wasn’t that stellar either. I’m not sure if it was just a bad chicken breast, but it ended up being atrocious. I believe I had the Pollo Tocino, so buyer beware! I’ve learned my lesson.

The food was OK. This place was terribly busy tonight. They are definitely not equipped to handle this many people. I did a call in order at 6 o’clock picked up my food at 6:35. Had to go to the front through all the people to figure out that my order has been sitting there for 15 minutes. Now I have cold food great. On the plus side the young lady working in the front was doing the best she can. She was having the ring people out and see people by herself.

We noticed they had opened so we gave them a try for dinner. We are so glad we did! It’s still clearly a Mexican restaurant but modern and up to date. The decor is bright and inviting! The service was a little slow and the food made up for it. A fresh take on Mexican classics! And the prices are reasonable, especially given the generous portion size. Having such a good Mexican restaurant in Welcome is a ‘welcome’ addition!

Wow finally a New Mexican restaurant that’s aesthetically pleasing and also affordable. Nothing you would expecting coming out of welcome. First thought when I walked in was wow how was this a bbq place before? They redid EVERYTHING and it looks so much better. The service was fabulous, our drinks stayed full, table stayed clean and he was on top of everything. Not to mention it’s probably more affordable than don juans or any other Mexican restaurant in Lexington. Also they did not skimp on the meat as you can see in the pictures.

Tried this place for the second time to give it another chance but unfortunately had the same experience. Service doesn’t exist. Starting from when you walk in, no one acknowledges you. You have to track someone down and ask for everything. Napkins, utensils, refills…ect. A few things we asked for our waitress didn’t understand what we said. On top of horrible service the food is extremely bland. If you have more than one taste bud and didn’t grow up eating vienna sausages you’ll agree. I don’t mind paying good money for good food but this place shouldn’t charge anywhere close to what they do for this low quality of food. This area truly needs better/more restaurants and this one isn’t it. I do not recommend eating here.
