Nice restaurant, avocado salad was nice. And the shrimp tacos were flavorful. My friend had the chicken chimichanga and she said her sides dishes had Indian flavor influences; for example her side of rice was basmati rice and the beans had hints of curry. Not quite Mexican, so she could have done without that flavor profile. But at least it did not overpower the entire dish! Lastly, the alcoholic mango drink was very good.

This place is amazing! The food is full of flavor and super fresh — you can really taste the love in every dish. The tacos were incredible, the guacamole was spot on, and the margaritas were just perfect. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere feels warm and authentic.

What a great place! We are from Southern California, so we know good Mexican when we have it. This was it. Fresh tasty and full of flavor. The Tacos were crunchy and the tortilla were tasting like home. The Chimmichanga my wife had was delicious. After traveling in Portugal for 2 weeks we’re looking the flavors of home. Thank you El Captain for your commitment to authentic Mexican cooking. The only thing I would change is a selection of authentic hot sauces for those of us who appreciate the spice.

Everybodey who ate there waited at least 45 Minutes for their food If not even more. The Kitchen is really slow. The only thing that saved this Review was the food it’self. The food was pretty tasty, However the value for it was to small. Usually you get more food for the price. (14€)

I’m from California and visited Lisbon recently, and during our stay on a houseboat we ended up having most of our lunches and dinners at El Capitan. The food felt very balanced — a great go-to spot for Mexican cuisine in the city. Yes, the flavours are a bit more adapted to the European palate with plenty of cheese and less heat, but they do offer homemade spicy hot sauce, which we absolutely loved. And honestly, the Paloma was one of the best I’ve had — even compared to many places back in the States. Friendly atmosphere, good energy, and consistently enjoyable meals.

It was so amazing to be here, good sea view and hot sunny evening with cold beer. Service was great feels like home especially Dheeraj he was kind and friendly and i should say about the food, he referred us nachos with cheese it was so yummy thanks to the chef. Loved to be back again
