Arguably the best Mexican restaurant (not in a Mexican Grocery Store) in Owensboro. Excellent food and great menu. Atmosphere is good but it is inside of a shady hotel but that really does not affect the restaurant or parking. The service is not the best because they are usually very crowded and a little understaffed. Its not that the service itself is bad, they are just busy. They have Excellent homemade salsa that they bring out in individual small jugs so everyone can pour their own. It is great. Their cheese Molcajete with steak, chicken, and chorizo is absolutely phenomenal. Their Quesabirria and their Kentucky Chicken with the Spinach Artichoke Dip topping is a wonderful dish also.

Great little find! The menu is extensive with lots of options to choose from, so it was hard to decide what to order. The service was quick and very friendly, which made the experience even better.
We ordered the large queso to start and they definitely mean large! Perfect for sharing and really tasty. For my entrée I chose the Azollo Nopal, and it was delicious.
It’s a cute little restaurant tucked inside the Rodeway Inn, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. Prices were very reasonable too. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

My wife and I came here for an early dinner with our daughter. It is a quaint spot next to what looked like the hotel’s breakfast area. We had an carnitas enchilada, chicken chimichanga, and a little cheese quesadilla. Great portions for the price, great flavor.
Wonderful staff, soft and kind; our daughter was missing her fruit, so our waiter brought out a couple orange slices for her. Afterwards, we forgot her toy, and they noticed and brought it out for us before we left! We very much appreciate them.

Soooooooooooooo, so, so good! Having your own salsa is such a commodity!!! And where they do that at??? Here! My 7 year old gave them a 5 star review(5 out of 5)!!! He had the grilled chicken enchiladas, queso, and fried ice cream! He loved everything he ordered! I had chunky guacamole and a carnitas taco! Best salsa in town!!!! 2 for one margaritas! Can’t go wrong! And the most important aspect of dining out for me, is always the service. All the workers were extremely KIND. Not too loud of an atmosphere, super chill.

Surprised to find this lovely Mexican restaurant inside the Days Inn motel. I’m so glad I found them. The food is colorful, fresh, and delicious. The service is very good. The ambience is festive and comfortable. They need a larger sign out front so people know they are there.

I have been to el Camino a few times and it was quite enjoyable. I like their salsa (which everyone gets their own little bowl) and the chips were good, so a very good combination. They had a good variety of lunch meals. We all were satisfied with our selection and had more than we could finish. Can take some time to get in and out.

This was a diamond in the rest to find I passed it up three times it is located inside the hotel upfront entrance. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was awesome and the prices were great and the drinks were amazing and I met some friends that I knew from my town which made my experience even better definitely recommend and I will definitely be back!!
