This compact, hip Mexican joint with classic tacos & burritos also offers rotating vegan specials.

delicious food, quick service and vegan and vegetarian options. Menu is pretty inclusive for how little the place is. There’s seating inside to eat but the vibe of this location lends to takeout. The vibe is excellent though, pretty art and good smells. I got the rolled chicken tacos and they were excellent!! Will def be back. I liked the quality of food better here than the south Braddock location

Ordered about 7 to go items. Service was great and the pick up order was ready when I arrived. Flavors in each dish are mixed really well together. Ingredients are of really good quality – no tummy aches!

I’ve eaten here at least 4 times and this is the last time. Overpriced, quality and quantity of food is substandard. Born in and lived in California for 53 years. I have eaten from scores of taco trucks and Mexican restaurants up and down Central and Southern California, Washington State and parts of Mexico. This place isn’t even close to the same quality, authenticity, or value. My last purchase here was a Carne Asada burrito. It was half the size of what I’m used to, dry and taste like a cut up chuck roast. Lacked rice and beans and salsa. The salsa cup offered may as well have been called tomato sauce. I rate this a Pozer!

Just super mid unfortunately. Kinda fun atmosphere inside but the food is a let down in my opinion. I get it’s supposed to be fast food kinda, but jeez. Esquites I got had such a weird flavor. Tortillas and meat seemed low quality to me. My particular queso was so oily, it’s nuts. It is what it is, there are worse places but just don’t expect anything too great.

Great place for tacos and burritos. I got the nachos, which took way longer than I expected, which affected the texture, and there wasn’t enough protein, a lot of sauce and guacamole, which wasn’t a plus for me. I would come back one more time because maybe the staff was having a bad day. The flavor was there, so I’ll get something else next time.

I ordered Carne asada nachos and a jarritos drink over the phone. I specifically told this woman literally over and over “NO BEANS NO TOMATOES” I should’ve knew she was going to fcc my order up because she kept repeating back to me “so no beans and pico?” WHO SAID NO PICO??? I told her about 5 times on the phone to leave everything on it except NO BEANS NO TOMATOES.
There was no pico or sour cream on my nachos either. I ordered a drink as well and she told me to just come in and grab my own just in case they didn’t have the flavor I liked. When my friend went in to get it they tried to charge him SHE NEVER ADDED THE DRINK TO MY TICKET. NOW HAD HE WENT IN THERE AND TOOK A DRINK AND WALKED OUT LIKE SHE TOLD ME TO DO IT WOULD’VE BEEN A PROBLEM.
And not only that, she let my friend walk out without the drink knowing she didn’t charge me for it and never said anything! I know this because I called back and it was a man that answered. He said “was the order for Mo?” I called this place 3 times throughout the day before I ordered and every single time I called it was the same woman. They didn’t even try to make it right either.
I live in Charlotte but I’m from Pittsburgh, this is my first & LAST time here. I will NOT be returning.
Whoever that lady that took my order over the phone DON’T NEED TO TAKE NOMO PHONE ORDERS. GET HER SSA OFF THE LINE IMMEDIATELY‼️
Edit in response: I said no tomatoes because I didn’t want plain cut-up tomatoes on my nachos. Pico de gallo is fine—that’s actually the only way I eat tomatoes (with onions and cilantro). That part is on me for not being more specific.
That said, the order was already messed up regardless. I was served chips, steak, literally two jalapeños, and a pound of cilantro. No sour cream. No taco sauce. No queso. Nothing. Just dry nachos.
I’ve had real authentic Mexican nachos in Charlotte, and this is not it. I threw the whole thing away.
Not worth the price or the hype.

Not what I expected when we chose this place before a concert on google, but it was delicious. It’s on again city street, so parking is limited side streets. It’s just a small little place. Seems to do more takeout than dine in. They have two long high tables against the sides of the walls with stools for dinning in, so it’s more of a quick eat and head out. The food was delicious. I got a California burrito (which was LOADED with carne asada) and rice & beans.

Came here for lunch today and I ordered the chile relleno burrito and I got to say that was one of the worst burritos I’ve ever had. The chile relleno was right to be as hard as a rock. I added carne asada for 3.50 and they barely put any meat on. I from California so I am spoiled with great Mexican food. For 20 dollars I had a burrito and a coke. A great waste of money

Staff is super friendly and the place is very cool. I love the decor and painted seats and all. The food was pretty good quality, the queso wasn’t my favorite but still pretty good. My only problem is that it was a little pricey but they probably use good quality ingredients so id say it’s worth it. Would still recommend.

I got a chorizo, a chicken taco, and a TJ hot dog. You have to go street style because soft shell or die. The tacos were massive compared to the typical street tacos of Mexico or LA. Definitely worth the money. It came with the signature cilantro and onion, topped off with lime. I wish the hot sauce was a little hotter, but great tacos. As for the hot dog, it was described to me as “bacon-wrapped”, but I could not fin any bacon. It came topped with Mexican cheese, cilantro/onion, tomatoes, and guacamole. It was a great hot dog, but going in expecting bacon and not getting bacon was pretty disappointing. I will definitely go back, but I’m going back for the tacos, u less someone finds the bacon. Great atmosphere, very limited seating (I think there like 12 bar stools). Definitely get over here or I think there is a location in Regent Square. Either way, you’ll be happy and full.
