From the moment I entered the “El Burrito” restaurant I noticed how clean and cozy this place was. Located in the downtown heart of Phoenixville, the location could not be any better. We ordered steak burrito, chicken burrito, pork burrito and tortilla soup. The burritos were excellent, juicy inside packed with meat, rice, veggies, beans and the best part is, they all came with delicious French Fries on the side! You can’t ask for a better combo than is! The tortilla soup was equally delicious with chicken and delicious spices inside. I asked for the tortilla soup to be without sour cream and Dylan made it so. To finish off, we tried the homemade deep-fried ice cream! WOW! The ice cream was amazingly delicious and the scoop was a good sized scoop! We also tried the Nutella ice cream and that rocked too! WOW! We talked to Dylan who is a very pleasant person to talk to. Thank you Dylan for your hospitality and thank you to the amazing cooks behind the kitchen who do not get recognition. We will definitely be back to this place again to enjoy some authentic and scrumptious Mexican food. See you soon!

Consistently delicious! My significant other and I first visited El Burrito about a year ago, and every meal since then has been excellent. Whether we’re eating in the beautifully and distinctively decorated dining room or ordering delivery, we’ve never been disappointed. The service has always been impeccably friendly in our experience, and we look forward to many tasty, reasonably priced meals in our future!

Absolutely the best food you can buy and great quality prices. In a quaint perfect area downtown where it’s not so busy think but it is a quaint little place to have dinner. It’s great for a date, friends, family especially if you have a large gathering there’s plenty of space. The owner is really into Freda is a beautiful painting on the wall and tons of art. The owner loves decorations and the place is very cozy and feels like home. You’ll find all sorts of amazing dishes on their menu and everything is of quality and they take care and every single order that you make.

I’ve been a customer of El Burrito for about a year and I’ve been trying to write a review but I always forget but here I am (finally!). So I lived in Mexico for over 20 years and I got here 2-3 years ago, I’m always looking for authentic Mexican restaurants to make me feel home. I’m from a state called Oaxaca and trust me, we are WORLDWIDE known because of our gastronomy, so I know what authentic and great Mexican food tastes like. When I tried El Burrito, I said “wow, this is the place!”, the place that truly reminds me of home, like almost everything on the menu is just like my town in Oaxaca. Fun fact: Corn ice cream is great here! The Cuban torta is the biggest sandwich I’ve ever seen in my entire life! In Mexico, they’re big but not this big. It’s so delicious!! The fish tacos are my husband’s favorite meal, I do like them too, highly recommended. I love the Cheese Gorditas . The Chorizo or Al Pastor quesadilla are another fav. There are so many great things. And for the big final, they just added Chilaquiles on their menu , I had them for lunch yesterday and I came back today to get them for lunch again. I am so much in love with them!

We decided to try El Burrito for the first time yesterday. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the bathroom was clean. The salsa that came with the chips was fantastic. The agua fresca was diluted and the steak burrito was bland with thin cuts of flimsy meat. I ordered the Burrito a la Mexicana and there wasn’t any spicy salsa on it. I will give it another attempt in the future.

Food was incredible! If I could give more stars I would. Very friendly people who run the place. Very traditional and felt like I was at a cozy dinner table. Definitely recommend the food as well.
