Traveling through town and stopped for lunch on a Saturday. Very few people in the restaurant. It took over 30 minutes from the time we sat down until we received our food. My wife and I both ordered a chimichanga and chili relleno combo. The relleno was very good, the chimichanga merely average.

Great Mexican restaurant! Authentic flavors, great service and bomb margaritas. If you like some kick ask for a spicier salsa (it’s a chipotle based salsa with a great kick, but not too hot) I didn’t experience too much of the night atmosphere since I arrived early. But service was friendly and the Percheron Burrito was on point. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area.

Highly recommend El Buen Sabor to anyone in the Montrose area. You will not regret it! Fresh and homemade. The tacos with rice and beans along with the churros were perfection. Can’t wait to go back.

Food was excellent, enchilada sauce was best I’ve had in a long time. Not very busy due to the time of day I was there for a late lunch. Restaurant and restroom were very clean. Service was excellent as well.
