I drive by El Buen Pan all the time but have never thought to stop in until last week when I needed a birthday cake. It was such a great decision! I ordered a tres leches cake with strawberry filling. It was incredibly good. The strawberries were fresh, the icing was light, the cake was perfectly cooked, and everybody at the party raved about it! 10/10, highly recommend.

Lots of fresh pastries also had ribs and other cooked meats available by very friendly people who spoken English. I will definitely go back for the Bavarian cake which had yummy cream. The order was very reasonably priced. Take all major credit cards.

I stopped by El Buen Pan today. El Buen Pan is a Mexican Bakery located at 1040 S Pendleton Street in Easley. El Buen Pan isn’t just a bakery they have savory items as well as cakes, pastries, croissants, cookies, churros and different types of breads. Some of their savory items are Carnitas, Costilla Asada, Pollo Rostizado and Tamales. There’s also coffee, juices and soft drinks as well. I went in today for churros, no luck today the lady at the front told me they will have them in the morning. I didn’t want to leave empty handed so I got the Tres Leches Strawberry Shortcake. The cake is two slices of vanilla cake with a strawberry filling in between the layers, topped with whipped cream a strawberry glaze on top, sitting in a milk mixture. The cake was delicious and a really nice size, enough for two people. I’m eating it in stages. Stop by El Buen Pan Mexican Bakery if you’re in Easley, I’m going back for those churros!!

Stopped by the bakery at 4:45 today OCTOBER 30, 2023, to pick up a tres Leches cake for a co worker. The door rang to notify them that some one had walked in. I was never waited on, my phone rang, I answered it and had a conversation with my sister. No one ever acknowledged that I was there, I waited at least 15 minutes, it won’t happen again.

It was due time for a visit to Mexican bakery el buen pan in Easley. Such a gem!! I always feel like a kid in a candy store here because they have sooo many freshly-baked goodies to choose from…even bagged chicharrones. I love snacking on those things.
Did you know that you can also order food to-go from the counter? El Buen Pan has different tamale varieties, meats by the pound (good for your own taco nights), and tortas. The tortas are made fresh to order using the bolillo bread that they bake themselves.
I got the La Buena torta: breaded steak, hot dog, cheese. So delicious!!! And so flavorful!! I’m usually not a fan of jalapeños but these add much needed heat to meld all the flavors together. And..that bread. It’s crusty on the outside and it has that perfect soft interior. Definitely my favorite part of the torta.
I know we joke about how many Mexican spots there are in Easley but this is a unique spot that can’t be missed.

After reading some reviews, We decided to check this establishment out. I’ve been to a couple of Mexican bakeries over in Greenville, and I’m glad this one is here in Easley! The pastries are so good! We tried a variety and enjoyed each one.
But! What I really enjoyed is their food menu! That is definitely worth a stop all by itself. Roasted chicken looked great. We tried the ribs….and wow….so good! Slightly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, yum! Also had a torta (sandwich), and I also enjoyed that. They have several choices of those. And not to be left out…tamales! There’s chicken, pork, and veggie. The pics are ribs and the torta. There is no seating for dining, but you could definitely get lunch or supper to go here.
