Overall, the service was good, but we waited a little longer than usual, but the food made up for it. It was GOOD!

Trust the reviews. Food is pretty good but took about 15 minutes just for someone to bring us the menu. Then an hour to bring out the food. They only have 1 server on a Saturday and 1 cook. Server was running around to each table and forgetting to bring what we asked for. Also editing this, over charged us, prices online and on menu are way different, $19 for fried plantines?? It says $13.39 online.

I’m currently in the restaurant eating with my family, and we are a big table. We called ahead to make a reservation and everything was great until we started ordering. The drinks took forever and we had to keep reminding the waitress about them. After we ordered our food and it started coming out she confused our order with another tables and the food that was brought out was ICE COLD!!! It’s been an hour or so and only some of us have eaten and we are still missing some orders from our table. I think they need to hire another waitress or a bus boy and maybe new kitchen staff as well. We asked the waitress what was going on and she said that the cooks are new and she has to make the pupusas as well as serving people, I think they need to hire more staff to accommodate the demand. It’s absolutely ridiculous that people have to wait so long for some damn service, I work in the service industry and this is absolutely absurd!!

Came with my family and the drinks took long to receive them. Everyone but my son got their food and had to remind the waitress. The pupusas were too oily and no flavor. Nobody checked on us. The waitress sucked. The guy there was slit more helpful and nice

Ordered this past weekend for take out. I live 17 mins from this 2nd location. I picked up my food and asked if everything was there since they’ve messed up before. It was a big order and I should’ve confirmed myself. I get home only to find out my wife’s Soup was missing. I was very upset and called the restaurant and not an apology or anything. All l got was “oh yes, your soup is here”. I hang up and drive another 17 mins to pick up. The waitress didn’t seem too much to care. I asked if they reheated my order, she said it was kept in hot container. Got home and the soup of cold. Most likely will never order from Buen Gusto again. Look elsewhere before coming here.

I went to this restaurant today for lunch to try their food for the first time. I ordered three pupusas. The first was cheese and pumpkin; the other two were revueltas. The cheese and pumpkin pupusa were poorly cooked, and the edges were undercooked. The two revueltas were salty and oily. I won’t return to this restaurant, but I wanted to share this review to prevent others from wasting their money here. Go elsewhere if you want better pupusas and food. The service was awful; the waitress never returned to my table, even when the restaurant was empty and I was the only customer. I am totally disappointed.
