If you are trying to decide to eat here or not…. do yourself a favor and DO IT! By far the best Mexican food I have ever had. Definitely try the Cantarito. I’m not a huge lover of Margarita’s and thought I’d try the Cantarito…. turned out it was a wise decision! It was great! Oh, and I can’t forget their guacamole was ahhhhmazing!

Excellent food and service. We’re out of town but come down to the lake a few times a year. Anyway this place was fantastic. We had chips,queso, and the El Buen Gusto burritos. Everything was great. Beer was cold too. Will come back next year. Gracias primo.

Best Mexican restaurant in town!! The Horchata is a must have!! The food is always great! Everyone should definitely give it a chance the next time you have a craving for some good authentic Mexican food.

**A HIDDEN Gem** We love to find those “hole-in-the-wall” places with excellent service and delicious food!! Our young waitress couldn’t recommend which margarita by taste (she is underage) but went above and beyond to show us the different sizes available. I ordered a frozen with salt. To my surprise, the salt had a little spice/heat to it and I liked it!! I ordered a quesadilla that was cheesy and delicious with a homemade tortilla. Confirmed with the waitress that the tortillas were hand made by her mom. Wow it makes a difference!! Most definitely will eat here again and highly recommend!!

I have nothing but good words to say about this restaurant. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants before but this is what you would call AUTHENTIC Mexican food. I ordered fajitas and they were so delicious. The staff here is great. A younger girl served me and she was so attentive and polite. Prices are very fair (especially with inflation) and the cantarito drink in the clay cup is amazing. This has to be the best Mexican restaurant in town!
