Fantastic restaurant! My boyfriend, myself, and our 3 year old went last week for dinner. Waitress was sooo sweet and nice to my 3 year old. Food came out very quick! I ordered shredded chicken chimichangas and they were so flavorful and delicious! My 3 year old wanted a hot dog (he was in a picky mood) and loved it. We tried his fries that came with his meal and they were even fantastic. 10/10. We were in and out of here within an hour and it was an awesome and happy experience. Will DEFINITELY be going again.

We were dismayed when we headed out to our favorite restaurant and saw it was marked permanently closed. We headed over anyway, hoping it was wrong. I am happy to report that while the name has changed, the staff and the flavor the kitchen packs into every bite is still the same. I recommend these guys to everyone I know.

Unfortunately I am having to change my review and rating. Since our previous review, all the old staff is gone, prices are up, quality of ingredients is down, and flavor is gone. It’s too bad. If anyone knows where the old staff went, I’m really going to miss their food.

El Beso in Greenwood is a hidden gem for fresh, flavorful Mexican food. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy with friends or family. The service is quick but never rushed, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Everything we tried was delicious. The tacos de pescado were a standout, and the burrito, enchiladas, and tacos de carne asada did not disappoint. Portions are generous, and the guacamole was fresh and tasty.
Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to soon.

Great food, great service! They set up a taco bar for our group of 30 at our event. Food was fabulous and plentiful, with great options. It was beautifully arranged and it was stress-free for us.

Will never go back! Got really really bad food poisoning. Been crapping and puking all night. Took food home for my daughter. She ate it the next day and now she has diarrhea and is puking. Also, our waiter was very suspicious. I think he may have done something to the food, no joke. Awful!

We were visiting the area & decided to stop here for dinner. I sat in the parking lot, reading these reviews and was a little bit hesitant. However, I am so glad that we decided to go in! The service? Excellent! The food? Great! Everything was fresh. I mean, down to every little piece of tomato in the pico. The guacamole was bright green and delicious. The chips were warm, the salsa was delish. We both got dinners, guacamole, and two drinks and our bill was only $36. Not sure what’s going on with these reviews, but we had zero complaints. We plan to make the our long trek back just for this restaurant!

El Baso in Greenwood has quickly become my favorite Mexican restaurant because every single dish I have tried has been incredible. The flavors are flavorful, the food is always cooked perfectly, and the flan is sweet, silky, and unbelievably delicious. I love trying something new each time I visit and everything has been amazing. The staff is super friendly and makes every visit even better. I would recommend El Baso to everyone I know because the food and the overall experience are truly outstanding.
