Really enjoyed this New Mexican place with family! All the food can be customized for vegetarians which is super nice considering not a lot of the surroundings restaurants do so. The food was great, vibes were great. Very colorful. Will come back again!

I order from you guys probably once a week because I love your shrimp tacos. But I didn’t know who you have in the kitchen but you need to tell them to stop overlaying the tacos on top of each other. Overlaying the tacos on top of each other. Just place them normally. So I can grab them easily. The person in the kitchen keeps over layering the tortillas and it is so frustrating to get the correct portions and grab it correctly . I am finally saying something after many months of dealing with this. I figured the restaurant would have learned and figured out that nobody wants this. Whoever is doing this needs to stop immediately . It is ruining this business and I am seriously ready to stop ordering because it is so annoying as somebody that is disabled as me. It is almost impossible to pick up these tacos without them falling apart . Just put them side by side to fully put together. Not overlapped !!!!Sure it looks cool. But it’s so annoying to actually eat as someone who is physically disabled like myself. I want to grab my taco and eat it. Not have to fight which taco gets the appropriate amount of filling. I am so sorry to rate a small business this low. But it has seriously gotten out of hand. I thought you guys would have learned by now.

The atmosphere was lovely, bright and exciting. The booths and tables were all very big. It was clean, I even saw someone wiping down the menus.
The server was very nice but couldn’t be very attentive because he was serving half the restaurant. Almost all tables had people at them. Our order was taken quickly and drinks arrived promptly.
The margaritas were great and came in different sizes. The small was nice and small and the medium was generous. The house margaritas and peach margaritas were yummy. We would have them again.
Chips, salsa, and bean dip arrived with the drinks. The salsa and bean dip were good.
Our food arrived quickly and that’s where it went down.
We got 2 different combo plates. They were large but the food was bland. The red sauce on the enchilada was oddly sweet and thin. The shredded chicken was also very bland. I could see there were onions and peppers in the chicken but couldn’t taste them. The combination plate was just the chicken wrapped 3 different ways with the watery sweet red sauce. It was the same with the others plate too. Not at all impressed by the main dish.
We might go back for drinks but probably won’t get dinner.

As always, the food was fantastic. Great service, friendly staff, great environment. Prices are pretty fair. We will most definitely be returning again and again. 5/5 stars!

Stopped here for lunch with a friend although it was busy mid way through the lunch we got a table. As soon as we were seated our server came over with with chips and salsa and refried beans and took our drink orders. We looked at the menu and enjoyed our chips and salsa and beans our server was back in a few minutes to take our orders we decided on the Beef chimichanga meal and the 2 enchiladas with rice and beans one chicken and one beef. Our food was brought out in short order on hot plates and both looked very good and we were not disappointed my friend said the Chimichanga was great and my enchiladas and Rice and Beans were also great good flavors in everything food was hot and perfectly cooked. El Azteca is a very good Mexican Rest. is it as good and authentic as some others I’ve been in around Wisconsin or say Texas no maybe not but it is very good and you won’t disappointed with your meal. I’ve read some reviews that talked about food not being spicy or no flavor to those I say our food had plenty of flavor and if you want spicy order it spicy or ask them to put some heat in it I will bet they will.

Food was ice cold. The $13 “steak” tacos are the furthest thing from real steak and they’re served on a hard shell with cheese and lettuce. No mention of the tortilla style at all or toppings on the combo menu. The rice was ice cold and flavorless and the refried beans looked so grey I wouldn’t feed them to my cat. The burrito was 80% rice with a bite of chicken at the bottom. $62 worth of garbage served to me.

Nice restaurant. Our service was really good. The food however wasn’t that great. Very bland and little to no spice. Probably won’t go back for entrees. But we did enjoy our margaritas and our dessert (sopaipillas). So, if we do go back it will probably just be for drinks and apps.

I order from this place multiple times a week and I always get the shrimp tacos. For some reason they overlay the tacos on top of each other and they are extremely difficulty especially for someone who is disabled. Please stop doing this and just put them next to each other normally.
