I rarely get this excited about a restaurant! The shrimp tacos are the reason….. Forced myself to order something different besides the AMAZING Pupusas and fried yucca with pork. The shrimp dish is like a grilled corn quesadilla filled with something a little like Shrimp Creole. Nothing I can say will due justice to how good it is so I’ll just shut up now.

The pupusas, the curtida, the pastelitos and the service, all amazing!!! The food is very authentic, made to order and speedy. Went with a Salvadorian friend and he said they were almost as good as what his mom makes. Definitely a must if you are in the area.

If you’re debating eating here… Do it! We just ordered take out for dinner and it was absolutely amazing. The folks answering the phone were so helpful in picking out the best items to order and making sure we had enough food (we did). We will be back to order more, and hopefully the tamales won’t be sold out next time! We ordered pupusas (loroco and queso and both styles of revueltas), pastelitos (picadillo), yuca with chicharron, and the empanadas de platano. YUM!

The food was made fresh to order and the servers were very helpful. I had the vegetarian pupusas (squash and cheese, jalapeno and cheese, mushroom and cheese, and spinach and cheese), the picadillo empanadas, and a side of yucca. It was all fresh and flavorful. San Marcos definitely needed something different and this is it. Hope you try them and support this local business. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

I am not an expert, by any means, of Salvadorean food. But it was delicious. The service was good. Not really friendly but good. The atmosphere was “fast-food” the food was not. My niece loved everything, including the Chia agua fresca.

Best food in the United States hands down. Fresh and full of flavor. You wont find food like this anywhere. Ive traveled all over and the only place you can get a meal like this would be to fly to South America.

We searched for high rated food along our route and El Arco pulled up as a 4.7. I love trying different foods and was excited to check them out. My husband got the plate with 1 papusa, 1 Gordita and 1 baleada. I got the breakfast plate with plantains, fried eggs, pork chop and casamiendo. The papusa was by far our favorite, we had the pork and cheese, but everything was delicious! We really enjoyed the flavoring on the pork chop, and my fried eggs were cooked perfectly. Everything went really well together.
