I went to buy some tamales for my family and the customer service was great. When I got home we was so happy to eat tamales because its been a long time since we have eaten them. The tamales were big, but it was mostly masa and a little piece of chicken, it was the end of a chicken leg which doesn’t have any meat. We was all so disappointed. I will not be returning, because that was a waste of money.

the atmosphere was a little confusing: they had music playing from the speakers, but also different music playing on the TV, and the smoke alarm was beeping the whole time we were there. that seems a little unsafe, I hope they replace the battery soon :/

El Antojo Chapin is a true hidden gem in Canton! I ordered the pupusas, chuchitos, and caldo de res, and everything was outstanding. The pupusas were packed with flavor, the chuchitos had that authentic homemade taste, and the caldo de res was rich, hearty, and comforting. To top it off, I had the fresh strawberry juice, and it was absolutely delicious — the perfect refreshing drink to go with the meal.
The staff is so welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. It’s rare to find authentic Guatemalan food like this, and I’m so glad I did. Highly recommend this spot — I’ll definitely be back!

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and everything was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, and it was our first time ever trying Guatemalan food we loved it and will definitely be back. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our waitress. She was hands down the best waitress we’ve ever had. She made us feel like we were guests in her own home. She took the time to explain every single dish, recommended appetizers, and had such great conversation with us. She was also incredibly patient and sweet with my kids, which meant so much to us. We will absolutely be coming back for the food, but especially for the outstanding service. We don’t know her full schedule, but we do know she works Thursdays so if you’re reading this, go on a Thursday because she is truly wonderful!

This place is a gem! We typically eat at the Chinese restaurant next door and noticed this place. I read the reviews and checked the health rating all good! We’ve never ate Guatemalan food so we didn’t know what to expect. And it was amazing! We got Churrosco and it was amazing! The plantains were amazing! Service excellent! I can’t wait to return to try another dish.

RUN, don’t walk! I promise you won’t regret it. It was the highlight of Saturdays in the summer to go to the Canton Farmers Market and walk around and shop and then wait in line to get their pupusas for lunch.
Now they have a restaurant that feels just as warm, open, and welcoming as they are. Plus they have a menu with a lot of wonderful food.
