My husband and our two kiddos came here tonight for the first time. We were excited to visit given the wonderful reviews. The restaurant and it’s staff did not disappoint. The food was exquisite. You can tell they are a higher end Mexican restaurant with how the servers are and how the food is prepped. The desserts were wonderful too. The salsa was house-made, which was a nice touch. Really loved it here! Very welcoming atmosphere and delicious food!

Different meals as they passed our table were incredibly fragrant.
I have the veggie quesadilla which I added chicken.
My husband had the chicken chimichanga with a side of refried beans and rice.
Three desserts bread pudding, Tres Leches, and Cafe Latte Mousse.
This was dinner after seeing the show at the Olney theater. Really a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

I’ve been coming to El Andariego for more than 10 years, and they’ve never let me down. I love their dishes. The pupusas are delicious, and the daily specials always surprise me with incredible flavour.

We hosted a lunch for 50 people. We took over the back dining room. Orders were taken table by table and the food was delivered table by table. Very organized. Drinks were topped off regularly. Many people commented that the food was very good. Great place to host a big event. Owner was very friendly.

Hidden el Salvadoran and Mexican food is a must visit. Places like this deserve a lot of credit for having such great everything from once you enter to leaving. Some of the GREATEST steak nachos I’ve had in a good while—and I’m a NACHO FIEND!! The bartender, Javier was AMAZING and surprised me with his creativity in bar craft! The atmosphere was incredible and the live musician kept everything pumping! I came by myself on a whim for happy hour after work, but I will be back with eager diners. AMAZING VIBE that was sophisticated but still family-friendly!
