Restaurante-Museo costumbrista que rescata la gastronomía del oriente boliviano, recreando aromas, sabores y sensaciones de la vieja Santa Cruz. Edificado en una vieja casona de 1880 aproximadamente mantiene la decoración y los ambientes con las características de las casas de antaño y de la forma en que vivían los cruceños con sus utensilios y artículos del cotidiano vivir. El Menú está compuesto con platos tradicionales siguiendo las recetas originales, como también encontrarás platos que se estaban perdiendo y los pudimos rescatar y poner nuevamente al alcance de propios y turistas que quieren reencontrarse o conocer nuestra cocina con sabor a pueblo y siguiendo recetas de las abuelas.

Enjoyed this restaurant- had a homely feel and cooking was in a similar vein. Tried a couple of the fish dishes and both were very good. Also sampled some kind of local lager which was welcome in the heat. Very walkable from main plaza and recommended to check out.

Talk about true tradition in Bolivia/Santa Cruz. This place will take you back! The historic building, historic artifacts in the building……and I haven’t even gotten to the food yet . Yes, the peanut soup is unique and wonderful. I had the brisket which came like a slice of pie. It was marvelous! Really happy to discover this place. Go!

We liked this place because it wasn’t just the typical dishes you usually find. We ended up ordering an appetizer platter. Some of the dishes were different for us Americans, but we enjoyed them. Marcello went above and beyond with service, even making sure we were safe getting our Uber.

My boyfriend and I ate here while we were visiting Santa Cruz. The decoration inside was very nice and felt traditional. Miguel was a great waiter and helped us order authentic food. Overall really recommend for finding a nice independent place to eat in Santa Cruz.

Also the ambiance was very nice, a green garden with water. but unfortunately this attracts also mosquitoes, we got eaten alive. the service brought us repellent, what was very nice. the food seemed to be authentic and nice. the dishes looked beautiful, but unfortunately the fish „curry“ where prepared with rancid butter. that kinnda spoiled the hole dish and i couldn’t eat it. the hot vegetable „salad“ was delicious.

This is the best restaurant in Santa Cruz if not all of Bolivia. All the traditional dishes as if Grandma we’re making it in her kitchen. The prices are very reasonable. Sunday lunch. Traditional Santa Cruz cuisine. When I visited, the restaurant was full. 15 min waiting time. Service was excellent. 10 min waiting time from order to serving. Good presentation and flavor.
