Service was great. Food was so-so. Chips were a little cold and stale, salsa was fantastic. Chicken enchiladas had a lot of meat in them, tortillas were a little soggy around them. Nice, tart green sauce with crema. We didn’t order alcohol but the large group that did was having a blast. My wife liked her chile rellena, too.

I did not want to be difficult but wanted to see if they would be willing to let me order half portion of the seafood soup for lunch. They said yes and I was so happy. When I got the order, I was shocked at the portion that they gave me! It was huge, still looked liked the diner portion. It was so…SO…good! I was blown away. Had to share how amazing the customer service and the food was. It was a cold and rainy day, and I was grateful for my big bowl seafood soup. Thanks for making it a great day!

El Alamo Mexican Grill is one of my favorite local spots—their street tacos are seriously some of the best around. The family that runs it is always kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Their cheese dip is delicious, perfect for pairing with chips or drizzling over your tacos. I love that they offer 10% off fries on Fridays and 10% off tacos on Taco Tuesday—it’s a nice little bonus on top of already great food. I always look forward to going here whenever I can. The only downside is they don’t stay open later, which makes me a little sad since I work nights and often miss out. Still, it’s worth making the time to stop by. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality, affordable Mexican food with friendly service.

I had dinner here recently and it was ok but needs some tweaking. I ordered this dish (forgot the name) that’s basically grilled steak strips with veggies over rice and drizzled with queso. A similar dish to what I’ve tried at many other Mexican places. It had a good flavor but the problem was the thickness of the queso. Other restaurants use a very thin queso for this dish so you taste it but don’t really see it. This place is the opposite. It was queso overkill and when I say good flavor I mean the parts not drenched in queso. They should thin that down or use less.
I also got 2 asada tacos which were very good. They had plenty of meat but were a bit pricey at 3 bucks a pop.
The service was ok but could’ve been better. The place wasn’t busy at all but the server seemed preoccupied with another table for a bit too long. Not a deal breaker but just an observation.
I may come back and try another dish and maybe even splurge on a couple tacos.

My quest to find the best carnitas in Central Arkansas has ended here. This place is absolutely incredible – the food, the service, and the amazing owners. I can’t get enough of this place and everything I’ve tried has been phenomenal and better than I’ve ever encountered elsewhere. The owners certainly make this place a shining star among the rest.

The outside of the building is deceptive, it’s nicer inside and the food was really good. Get the spicy green salsa

Today was my first time going to this restaurant. I ordered 6 steak burritos. Hands down THIS IS THE BEST burrito I’ve ever had (no bs). I’m originally from California, but i live in Mississippi now. So it’s been along time since I’ve had some good AUTHENTIC Mexican food. This is THE PLACE!! I promise you will not regret it. GREAT service, atmosphere, hospitality and FOOD. If your near or in town stop by and grab you some of the FINES food in town.

Wonderful straight forward Mexican food. I had great fajita. My husband had eggs and chorizo mixed for lunch, and loved it. Not super expensive at all.

Had the steak ranchero. This plate was not like any steak ranchero I have had before; I really can’t find the words to express the satisfaction, so I’ll just say that it is food that touches your heart. The beef was so delicately cooked and so soft, and the sauce gave it that special flavor. The rice and beans were also so good that they could be a dish of their own. If you don’t know poetry, have this dish. I hope next time I pass by, stop here again.

Had an exceptional time at the El Alamo Mexican grill. The food was absolutely on par for the course. Hands down some of the best asada I’ve ever had. The steak is tender and juicy, while melting in your mouth delicious. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend
