Food was average for Mexican restaurant, it came out fast and hot. The waiter was slow at service and we spent most of time waiting on him to come to our table. The restaurant is in strip mall but interior is well decorated.

Passing through Mt Airy and decided to stop for dinner. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but I tried it anyway. Wow! Excellent service, great atmosphere, and food was scrumptious.

The food was not bad, although not as described in the menu. We had to wait almost ten minutes before the server took our drink orders, then another eight minutes before they took our meal order. The food arrived in a decent amount of time, but it came one plate at a time and took the server four trips to bring two meals. We attempted to catch her attention several times to point out the discrepancies and finally had to go find a manager. The manager simply smiled and attempted to make excuses and explain why we were wrong until we finally pointed it out to him on the menu. He simply said ok and walked away. Service did not get better after that. We will not return.

Place was nice. We met some friends there we haven’t seen in 20 years so we were there a while. The waiter was very patient and took very good care of us. We tipped him well since we stayed in his section for 3 hours.

An absolute euphoric experience to say the least. The picture I have attached is the special dinner for 2. This holy grail of flavour explosion is only $14 and literally came out in five minutes. I’m not exaggerating when I say—this place was worth the 11 hour drive from Toronto. The service was spectacular, the portions were extremely generous and the food was probably the best Mexican I’ve had in my life. I can’t wait to pass back through to stop here again.

They claim to have the best margaritas in town. I don’t think that is a customer opinion, it must be their own. We got two margaritas ( a strawberry and lime). The lime came with no salt on the rim and tasted guava or something else. Said it was not lime and sent it back. They gave us another which tasted exactly like the first. Both of them had a chemical after taste. I think they use a powdered mix and it has an artificial sweetener in it. Disgusting. And I think their customers no it because I didn’t see one order for a margarita come out while we were there. We only ordered the drinks because they advertise they have white wine but they really don’t. Service is pretty bad also. I ordered guacamole as an appetizer and black beans with my dinner. Neither came even with the dinner until I asked for them after hey came with dinner. I think my three star is a generous rating in hind sight.

The tea and cheese dip had flavor, the meal well that’s a different story. No flavor, the salsa was so tomatoey it was like eating tomato sauce. The chori pollo didn’t have any chorizo and the rice and beans were tasteless. First and last time we’ll eat there. Do not recommend this restaurant for anyone.

Food is good but menu is a little confusing on what comes with what. It is kind of crowded setting. We had a waiter that didnt speak or understand English well and they had to use a second waiter to communicate.
