Food was very good, staff was very nice, good serving on meals.
We enjoyed the atmosphere, the spice of the chilies were good not really too hot. My family really enjoyed the meals. If mama’s happy, everyone is happy!

The restaurant reopened in the end of January 2021 under new management. The menu is large and they have quite a selection of seafood. Based on conversation in the restaurant it appears they also do a Cajun boil! I tried the three item lunch special. Overall my dish was good however the chili relleno had not been cooked through before being put under the heat lamp. The wait staff and kitchen are very gracious and redid the relleno. The redo was wonderful! Nice little dining room and a neat location.

We’ve been here twice now. It’s good food really enjoy it each time. The beans are very good the rice not so much so but all of the dishes we’ve had ranging from tacos to other items have been good. We are not sure where they’re getting the tortillas for the street tacos but they look like they’re regular size that you get from a grocery store and they’re pretty tough, not the smaller ones what you would normally come to expect like from Tacos El Rey or other Taco trucks/ restaurants. Good flavored for all the food though. They are not the best but certainly not the worst and hold their own to the other Mexican places around here.

Old, stale chips. Salsa was okay, but the salsa serving bowls are tiny and we had to ask for a salsa refill multiple times. Nachos lacked variety and were burnt. Very little ground beef and old guac. My son had a shredded beef taco, and the meat was old, dry, and HARD, like jerky. Gross.

DONT BELIVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS clearly those people can’t tell the difference between good mexican food this is by far the Worst restaurant I have ever ate in my life the first time I ordered red enchiladas the tortillas where under cooked and the cheese was burnt the red Chilli tasted like watered down ragu came back a month later to give it a try and the food was even worse ordered green Chilli enchiladas the Chilli had no taste the shredded beef tasted like it came out of a can I also ordered the taco plate shells where burnt ground tasted terrible I was unable to finish my food do your self a favor and stay away from this place unless you want the curse of Montezuma aka the runs by far worst place in farmington and the worst place I have ever ate on both sides of the border
