I’m writing to share feedback regarding an experience I had today while picking up a takeout order.
When I arrived, I checked the order name before taking the bag. Before I could leave, the employee behind the counter loudly asked if the order was for “Caleshia.” I replied that it was for Brooklyn. She responded with a rude look and said, “Okay, take it then,” which felt unnecessarily dismissive.
Once I got home, I opened my bagel and found a gnat inside the cream cheese. I immediately called the store to let someone know, as I felt it was important for food safety reasons. The person who answered the phone responded with, “Okay, what do you want me to do about it?” and then offered for me to come back and pick up another bagel. The tone of the conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Between the interaction in the store and the response on the phone, the entire experience felt rude and unpleasant. I wanted to bring this to your attention, as this is not the level of service I would expect.

We ordered a breakfast sandwich and I wanted a spinach florentine one which they didn’t have. The bagels there were like hard crusty rolls and we did not care for. We left unsatisfied. We have went to so many Einstein’s and have never had a “bagel” like what we got here

I made an online order for an avocado veggie bagel sandwich, that comes with no meat on it, and a cup of coffee. When I got there to pick it up, I had a cup to get coffee, but all three of their coffee machines were empty. One girl who was working there was very nice and offered to make me a latte since I couldn’t get my coffee. When I got to my destination and went to eat my avocado veggie sandwich, I took a bite and realized there was bacon on it. I am vegetarian and do not eat meat! I was very frustrated because I could not go back to get a new sandwich. I did not add any meat to the sandwich, and it should not have been on there. Extremely disappointed with my experience here and will not go back.

I had missed my bus up North for a shop-day, and feeling disgusted with myself I went in to grab a small decaff. The young lady behind the counter was so nice to the Old Guy, and went above and beyond even though that time of morning is a busy period for the store, My son and I are going back for the full bagel and Shmear experience!

I walked in totally unsure of what to get, but Eric was an absolute godsend. He immediately picked up on what I liked and suggested a sandwich that ended up being phenomenal. The bagel was fresh and perfectly toasted, and Eric even gave me a couple of great recommendations for next time. His energy and genuine enthusiasm made the whole visit way better than I expected. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at an Einstein Bros. — Eric is the reason I’m coming back!
