Extremely disappointing experience. The staff were rude and dismissive, creating a terrible atmosphere from the moment I walked in. On top of that, the hygiene standards were questionable at best, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Definitely not a place I would recommend and there are far better options that value.

For lunch I got myself a Santa Fee bagel, for my wife a avocado/egg/tomato bagel. Th ride home was about 15″ and there were still crunchy at arrival. The staff was helpfull, I switched the bagel type (and back) and the confusion was corrected in no time and they were helpful. The atmosphere is a bit dated, wish they refreshed the decor a bit.

Working in Evanston, I was excited to finally be near an Einstein’s again. I went once and never went back. I was the only customer in the store. The girl at the register was polite and took my order, but the other employees were just yapping away with each other.
I got my food, went to work, and opened it up: correct bagel, but plain smear instead of the strawberry I ordered. I was the only customer there! I emailed with corporate and asked for a refund—which I’m pretty sure I never received. Horrible service.

ORDERED TWO BRISKET BAGELS THIS MORNING AND NOT ONLY WERE THE STAFF SO UNFRIENDLY, THEY ACTED LIKE THEY WERE DOING US A FAVOR OR LIKE WE WERE INCONVENIENCING THEM BY COMING, BUT THEY BARELY PUT ANY MEAT ON THE BAGELS, WE DID NOT GET THE BAGELS WE’D ASKED FOR AND THEY LITERALLY LOOKED LIKE THEY JUST SLAPPED THEM TOGETHER.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Employees have a terrible attitude and would talk about customers to one-another as if we can’t hear them. The food is fine but it is not enough to make me want to come back here. Leadership needs to have a retooling because whoever they are hiring really sucks

This place used to have their act together, but the last two times I’ve been here it’s been an absolute nightmare. I pre-ordered both times and both were, literally, 20-30 minutes later than originally quoted. The employees couldn’t care less and had no urgency to help. Never again – this place needs to get their crap in gear. Maybe having more than two people on at a time may help.
