Burnt to a crisp but still put cream cheese and sold it to me. Spent over $30 to get garbage like this. Stay away from this location or waste your money. Also charged me for two egg that I didn’t order and had to ask for a refund (glad I caught that one at least). Couldn’t inspect my food as there are no tables and was taking it to go. Fountain drink machine was down too. Just unacceptably horrible and disappointing as well as a big waste of time and money!

The food was great BUT the customer service was scary. The cashier was incredibly aggressive, I left shocked and confused. I asked for a Turkey and Cheddar sandwich and he kept asking me what I wanted in it. I told him I was here for the first time and I wanted whatever normally comes in the sandwich and he kept repeatedly asking what I wanted. I was confused and once again told him this is my first time here and pointed at the item on the menu to clarify. He then aggressively continued to ask questions and I was left shocked because he honestly seemed like he had a problem with me. He was very hostile and made the entire experience uncomfortable for me. I loved the food but definitely will not be coming back to this location due to the service.

I’ve come here twice. Each time I’ve always placed my order and gotten my food after someone who placed their order after me. This time a lady with unruly kids and special requests got her food before me even though she placed her order after me. Spent 22 mins in here waiting for them to complete my order because they want to pick and choose who they cater to.

First time at this location and probably my last. The cashier was very rude and impatient to all customers. They were out of most of the bagel’s that customers wanted. My smoothie is very watery and way too sweet. The All nighter sandwich was good, but I think it would be better with the original hash brown bagel which they were out of. The photo shows all of the bagels that were out when I went.

The food here is terrible. The bagels are old my jaw hurts from chewing these bagels. They barely put cream cheese. Two stars because the lady there gave me excellent service I suspect the owners or trainers tell employees to serve old bagels and skim on the cream cheese.

I was there this morning I waited almost 35 minutes for my order, and got this the egg is not cooked fully and raw when I got home and saw this I was disappointed bc of the amount of time I waited. Also there was some issues with the prep line they were arguing and messing up orders and one girl took almost 6 minutes trying to open a trash bag!!! It was ridiculous. Never again it wasn’t like this before bc I’ve been here before but today was just ridiculous!!

While my experience was ok. I giving this store a one star because of how one of the employees treats her coworkers. The lady who was ringing up orders on 2/18/23 was being incredibly abusive towards her coworker named corey. she started yelling at him for forgetting to bring out some cold brew. I can only imagine the verbal abuse corey must experience from her regularly. Not only did I notice but all of the other customers in the store noticed too. And they were commenting on the stitution. I can only hope that maangement will do the right thing and fires that lady. No one deserves to work in a toxic workplace.

I’ve tasted many a good bagel growing up around Philadelphia and having spent significant time in New York. In DC, to say good bagels are hard to come by is an understatement. Even the bagels at Whole Food’s taste more like bread with the true qualities of a bagel being an after thought. So when I had a bagel from l Einstein’s I was pleasantly surprised to experience the qualities true to bagel form. The right texture of the outside, chewy and soft at the right places, and great flavors of whichever flavor the bagel purports to be. Overall Einstein’s offers a real bagel experience in the DMV, an area where a decent bagel can be nearly impossible to come by. Four stars for flavor. Customer service could be better.
