Eiko’s has been one of our longtime go to spots, and it’s easy to see why it’s been around for so long. The food here is consistently amazing fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented every single time. Whether you’re ordering sushi rolls, sashimi, or one of their hot dishes, you really can’t go wrong. Everything tastes high quality and thoughtfully prepared.

The drinks are just as solid. From sake to cocktails, they pair perfectly with the food and make the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you know you’ll leave happy and satisfied.

Because it’s such a popular and well loved spot, wait times can sometimes be a little long, especially during peak hours. I definitely recommend making a reservation to avoid the wait and make your night smoother. That said, the lively atmosphere is part of its charm. It’s a great place to catch up with friends, share plates, and mingle over good food and drinks.

Overall, Eiko’s continues to be a reliable favorite for a reason great food, great drinks, and a welcoming vibe every time.

This place was so good. I had chicken fried rice abs it was the best fried rice I’ve ever had. We also had the yellowtail appetizer and the Ramen bowl and i highly recommend it. There was gluten free people with my party and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu.

Eikos Sushi was okay, perhaps I had higher expectations because of the Google ratings.
We ordered the blackened edamame, which was unique and absolutely delicious…highly recommend those.
We tried a few rolls, but overall we weren’t very impressed. It was a slow night for the restaurant, yet our order still took a while to come out.
Not a bad experience, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for us.

What a great Japanese restaurant with delicious food. The wagyu beef and Rico rolls were amazing. The fried rice was decent, a bit weird to put edamame in it but I liked the combination. Service wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t say it was good either. The atmosphere is good though and I can see myself returning to this restaurant to enjoy another delicious meal.

Last week on August 9, 2025, my family and I enjoyed a lunch outing at a restaurant. We were a group of 9, including my sister and her family visiting from Iceland. They were eager to try a restaurant in California, and I proudly recommended the best sushi spot in Napa – Eikos. However, our experience turned sour when we felt discriminated against due to our Asian heritage.

Our server was inconsistent and seemed uninterested in taking our orders. My 5-year-old nephew found a foreign object in his shrimp tempura, resembling a green sponge-like plastic that had been fried with the tempura. I called the server over, who took the piece of tempura with the foreign object by hand. Another server approached us and casually asked if we needed anything, showing no concern for the foreign object in the food.

When the manager finally came over, his dismissive attitude was evident from the beginning. He acknowledged the foreign object but made no apology, simply stating that it was a green sponge-like substance and that he had removed it from our bill. There was a lack of empathy or caring shown towards us as paying customers.

Feeling unheard and disrespected, I voiced my concerns about the unclean food preparation, lack of customer care, and overall negligence displayed by the staff. I feared for what may be happening behind the scenes in the kitchen. To make matters worse, after our meal at this restaurant, my entire family fell ill with upset stomachs and fevers.

I strongly advise against dining at this restaurant for the sake of your health. It is clear that they prioritize profit over the well-being of their customers, and our experience was a clear reflection of that. Please avoid this establishment if you value your health and safety.

No reservation when we went for dinner Oct 1. The plastic walled seating dividers are weird and not romantic, feels like a train. Server was very friendly and a bit hyper. Sold us the poke nachos immediately. Tasty! Peach Bliss and Island Time Mocktails were good if a little on the soda sweet side ( Maybe would be more grown-up with seltzer instead of sprite?). Ricky Ricardo on Vacation, hold the jalapeños, and a large salad with the unusual addition of cooked portobello mushrooms. Nice dressing. We did ask three times for extra ginger and helloooo… saw the busser heading to break… previously attentive waiter MIA.

Located in the heart of Napa’s main street and easy to get to, this spot has been on my list to try for a while. We were seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. The service was prompt and Tito was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Their miso soup was full of umami and I really wish I had another bowl right now!! I really enjoyed the dumpling choices. The fried shrimp dumplings were so crispy and flavorful. I had to try the steamed ones to compare. They are both delicious, but the steamed ones have a juicer shrimp flavor. I recommend you get both – you won’t be disappointed. Healthy fries are a tempura joy! Hot, crisp, and bursting with green bean flavor. The rolls are fresh and tasty and not overloaded with rice. I have some others I want to try, so we will be back!

The only thing that I gave a lower score to was the window seats. It’s very warm near the window, next time we’ll sit away from the window.

I was here twice during the first week of December. The food was awesome. I had the Hawaiian Poke Bowl and Veggie Ramen. A friend had Yakisoba both times. I had a great mixed drink with lychee, but I can’t remember the name. Our server was the same both times and was attentive to our table (her name maybe starts with a B? I’m clearly bad with names of people and things). We will definitely return here if we end up in Napa again.

We dined here for Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was slammed packed even close to closing time. The fish were of poor quality, the dishes were dirty–twice–even after requesting new cups, the replacements weren’t clean either. I stopped asking for a replacement when it was clear that the next ones would be the same & that they didn’t have time to serve us water for over thirty minutes after leaving to get new cups.
Got served some miso soup without a spoon.. and then the spoon that was brought was dirty. Thankfully our waiter put in some time to inspect the second one before bringing it.
Waited for another waiter to bring the wasabi that was supposed to come with our platter, and he never came back. A waitress passing by had to get it for us. Maybe it was the date or the volume of people dining, or the time (close to closing), but it was really unacceptable as quality wasn’t the first thing on their mind. It felt like it was understaffed, and it affected our experience. Our sashimi was also luke warm and really didn’t taste fresh either. I felt bad for the staff because they were obviously stressed. This experience was Really Disappointing and we will not come back again.

One of our favorite sushi places when visiting Napa is Eiko’s, and there aren’t many sushi restaurants in Napa that are as good. The sushi rolls are always fresh, the sake is excellent, and the presentation of the sake is pretty cool. We particularly enjoy the duck confit fried rice, as well as their sushi rolls and sashimi platters. While I’m not a fan of the indoor dining room with dividers around each table, I really enjoy the outdoor patio area, especially on a beautiful day, or sitting at the sushi bar. Their service is great; while check-in can be cumbersome at times, we always appreciate the sushi here.
