The staff was kind. Our waitress was so sweet. And the food was fabulous. Highly recommend.
I got a Hash Benny. I could be saying that wrong. But man, SO DELICIOUS!

Had a good experience at Eggs Up Grill Lake Charles. Visited at 12:15 on a Tuesday. Lucked out and got a table right away although it was packed. Ordered hot French vanilla latte and sweet tea to drink… both were good. Waitress Victoria was friendly and attentive. Ordered croissant donuts, brunch burger, and big tex Benny’s. Food took quite awhile to come. Another waitress accidentally gave our donuts to another table but they quickly made us some and got it out within 5 minutes. All the food tasted amazing… flaky croissant donuts with caramel drizzle and powdered sugar, burger cooked perfect and actually had good seasoning, the chicken fried steak was slightly tough to cut into but the eggs Benedict were chefs kiss! We also liked the home fries… cooked well and had a nice herby seasoning. Will definitely visit again!

The service here is absolutely amazing and the food sure matches it! My omelet got delayed a little. The manager surprised us with the donuts. Then we were surprised a short time after I finished eating with our whole meal having been covered. This was above and beyond anything they should have done!

Definitely a 110% recommend over coffee 30 and the horrible service we received there last month. We definitely will be back!

Waiting area was a little bit crowded, small, and uncomfortable. I’d consider adding some covered exterior waiting spaces for the overflow. The grilled blueberry muffin was to die for. The service was fantastic with our drinks never running empty and the server constantly checking to make sure that we were okay. The food took a little bit to come out, but was excellent once it arrived. The atmosphere felt like a mix between an old diner and a modern restaurant. It was a little warm because of the sun shining through the windows.

The food tasted good, and the person who served me was friendly, but it took a very long time to get my food. Between the time it took to order, the time I spent eating breakfast, and the time it took to pay the bill, I wasted more than an hour, and that’s even though I was eating alone.

My wife and I tried Eggs Up Grill because they are new to Lake Charles, and we were in the neighborhood. We were seated promptly and placed an order. She opted for a Chorizo/Egg bowl with a biscuit and gravy. I ordered the Classic (scrambled eggs w/ cheddar, crispy bacon, toast and grits). Hers came out with some kind of soupy mix at the bottom, the meat and eggs, topped with like a pico sauce…ugh. She was not thrilled at all. The sausage gravy was watery and the biscuit dry and hard. Mine came out w/o cheddar in the eggs and under-cooked bacon…they made that right, though. The grits and toast were OK. We will not be going back. Really wished this was not the case, but oh well. Caveat Emptor!

This was my first visit. Though it was rather busy the wait time for a table was not long. They greet you with a smile and didn’t make you feel rushed to order. Price are at different ranges, but not overly expensive. Food was excellent and service was great.

I had a full breakfast. The service was fine and the dishes were good. They used thick cut bacon that was well prepared. The servers were very cordial and took good care of me. I will need to return to try other dishes. The prices were reasonable. No long waiting.

Food was delicious staff was great. From wait staff to management top notch. Great experience we didn’t realize it was their first day when we got there but for their first day open they had it together. Wish I would have took picture of my food because the presentation was like a picture perfect. Recommend eating. There can’t wait to go back.
