Well I chose this place because I had never been, they said they were family owned and operated and the haven’t been on Kitchen Cops (to my knowledge). When I arrived I was slightly disappointed in the fact that the hostess was so busy clearing a table with a server (where they were doing more talking than clearing) that she didn’t notice I was waiting to be greeted. When she finally noticed me I was quickly seated , so that was good. My server came over (who shall remain nameless) greeted me and asked if he could get some water for me to which I responded yes and asked for 2 mimosas as well. The drinks arrived before my friend did and there was only one straw. I alao noticed the glass the mimosa was in appeared quite dirty which was an instant turn off. He then stated he would return with silverware. When the server did finally bring the straws he was holding 2 black cocktail straws in his hand which was obviously disturbing to both my friend and I. I ordered the pick three omelet with cheddar, onion and Jalapeños, the potatoes and wheat toast. My friend ordered the pancakes with bacon and asked that the bacon not be well. When the food arrived I looked at the server and had to remind him that we needed silverware. My food was cold and my omelet was tasteless. The potatoes appeared day old and the toast was chewy. My friend’s bacon wqa ovwe xooked and had to be returned. When the bill came I paid in cash and when my change and receipt were given the receipt had food on it which was gross to me. I am actually sad to write this review as I love supporting local and small businesses, but unfortunately I will not be returning.

Ordered the classic breakfast. Two soft scrambled eggs, 3 linked sausage, raisin toast, two soft scrambled eggs and home fries. The eggs were not sorted scrambled they were folded like and omelet, home fries were cold, link sausage were over cooked. The service was great though and the atmosphere we chill and laid back. I would go back maybe at a busier time thinking food would be hotter and fresher.

I go to Madison regularly to visit family and often stay overnight. We love going out for breakfast at Eggs Up! Been several times and the food is always amazing and the service is great, even though it can be a busy place. My favorite is the creme brule French toast with bacon. Kid friendly. Great outdoor seating space, too, for when the weather is good for it.

My husband and I visited Eggs Up Grill on. 1/10/2026. Our waitres, Emily was very friendly, attentive, and overall amazing. My husband ordered the grand classic and I ordered the Crab-ocado scrambled. The food was seasoned just right and was so good. If you are in Madison and want a great meal, Eggs Up Grill is a great choice.

Could have been a great experience but it was the service. We chose to sit the 45 minute wait at the Publix outdoor seating near the front entrance of Eggs Up Grill. We got a text to head to the restaurant but we were right outside and there was a line out the door so we decided to wait until we got the text that our table is ready. We then got a text that we were not going to be served anymore. When we went inside the restaurant to clarify the confusion, Danny gave us attitude and blamed us. He then showed his stress and impatiently told the young busser to buss off a table. This entire time we waited there were multiple tables outside that were never bussed, even through until they closed that we would have happily sat at as you can see from the photo. Anyways it was definitely off putting for him to be rude when all we were trying to do is have a nice family brunch and understand the confusing texts that never said our table was ready. Our waitress Zariah was very friendly but we did have to remind her of several things. We had to go inside and get creamer and sweetener for the coffee because it was never brought. The Boston cream donuts were delicious and light and fluffy. We all loved the biscuits and sausage. I would have preferred my house fries to be crispier. Food was pretty good but service could improve.

Tried this amazing establishment during the Mother’s day weekend! Eggs Up Grill did not disappoint. I was able to build my own omelet so I got turkey sausage, spinach, mushrooms, onions, and cheddar cheese. It was so good. I added a banana pancake to it. Yummy!
My husband and son loved their food too. My son couldn’t get enough of the eggs. He had three eggs. We will definitely be back. The atmosphere is so relaxing and comfortable. The best part are the inexpensive prices. We didn’t spend over $60 and that included the tip. Whoop Whoop!

I’m a big breakfast person and this place was amazing! My boyfriend and I sat at the bar which worked out because we got to meet the owner, Chris. She was very personal and her entire staff was amazing and friendly. They have great customer service. I had the chorizo scramble with a side of French toast and my boyfriend had the buttermilk pancake meal. We both were happy! I highly recommended. Everything was clean and the food was warm. The wait time was only 20 mins for a table, but we just decided sit at the bar for a different experience. Run there now and support this business.
